Weight Loss for Diabetics Special

An Apple A Day & The Pesticides They Spray

episode Richard is joined by animal nutritionist Dr Delana Davies. Dr Delena
has been involved in farming and agriculture for most of her life and offers a fantastic
insight into how farm animals are treated and fed. One of Delena’s jobs is to
calculate the energy and protein requirements of the animals of the farm to
enable the farmers to produce the animals to the right standard and in the most
economical way possible. Richard and Delena discuss where to get the best
quality meat, the production of poultry, GMOs, the amount of hormones and
antibiotics used on animals plus the difference between organic and grass fed
food in Wales.
