Brisbane Broncos emphatically ended their losing streak against Melbourne to make it straight through to the Preliminary Final. And Keenan Palasia told Andrew Moore and team that beating the Storm was a new experience for almost all of their them. He said coach Kevvie Walters was keen that they celebrated their achievement and that the group is really tight due to the fact that they have come through the club together.

The success of the the NRL's 17th team - The Dolphins - has sparked even more interest in joining the competition. The Brisbane Tigers are the latest group to put their hands up to be the 18th team despite their proximity to the most recent addition. The Chairman of the Tigers bid is Shane Edwards and he told Andrew Moore and the team there is definitely demand for another South East Queensland team.

Connor Watson is one of the NRL's good guys and he's making a real impact through his Boots for a Brighter Future Foundation. The Roosters Utility set it up after losing his cousin to suicide in 2017.
