How to stay focused with tasks without getting distracted. (I'm trying to remember what my priorities are) How much would I charge for small group PT if my one-to-one sessions are priced at £45? "I will be looking into what I can do on Stridist but in general, how can I offer more value and accountability when it comes to nutritional support for my one2one online clients.  Second  question  - I am struggling to get progression photos and measurements off some clients. I add it to their weekly check ins as reminders and reiterate the reasons why we do it and how it benefits then but I’m hitting my head against a wall.  Any advice? Thanks" How long do you think an effective consultation should last where we can get a sale but not also use up loads of time? Any tips on chasing up enquiries? I had 10 last week but as of yet no consults booked in. Want to reach out again but not sure how to go about it "I know my ""ideal client"" and have been making sure my message is to them, however, I have different skillset that could be for a different market. e.g. I work mostly with women making sure they have the right mindset and approach to losing weight, but I'm also a Low back pain specialist and love the biomec side of things. Is there a way to use both skillset and not confuse my audience? I was thinking of doing low back pain assessments in the gym but worried I will become the ""LBP guy"". I also spoke to a sports therapist and she may be keen to work on a referral program with me.  Would love to know your thoughts on this." How would you price pairs PT sessions compared to 121. Any suggestions for after care once a client leaves? Finishing with a long term client due to circumstance rather than her being ready to go alone and want to give her the best chance moving forward, she’s not ready for a new PT yet and I don’t think online will work for her right now If you have not been marketing an offer or your services for quite a bit and would like to get 3-6 (1-1) clients in the next 6 weeks with no gym floor traffic available. How would you go about it step by step considering you had your target market and offer nailed down and ready? Tips for conducting small group training sessions in peak hours/when gym is packed!  And how can we make these sessions extra special/high quality for the clients. "I have had an online client ask me if they can basically dip in and out of my online coaching service (e.g have 3 months of coaching then have a few months off and then pick up where we left off ) what would you advice to say to this person?" Would you recommend following people similar to your target back on socials rather than just always other coaches. So filling my business page with the people I want to help so that it I can see their stresses, struggles and frustrations so I can use it to help create content and open up conversations for business Any tips and advice for my first ever nutrition talk?  Will be my first ever time public speaking! I've got a lot of laptop based stuff to do just now, but I'm proper shit at staying focused when I'm sat at a screen, always have been - need to be on my feet and busy...any tips on how to maintain focus?! How would I go about increasing my pricing for online training. Do I need to include more with what I’m offering or simply put up the price of the current offering? Not sure where to start! If somebody is not the best at posting on social media and making e-mail marketing (not only English is a second language but also simply not that kind of person) however good in person (1-2-1/classes etc)- how much does this have an impact on the business (%)? "As you know I’m mainly working on developing my online coaching. Do you have any advice on how I can reach a wider audience?  Evening though I have online clients and I’m getting great feedback and referral’s, my clients are all still local people to my area. I feel like one of the reason why they sign up with me is because I’m the local guy from the gym who know his stuff. The only thing I can think to of is paid ads.  I’m not complaining, I’m just curious and it would be nice to get myself know out of North Lincolnshire 😆" How do I approach the delicate subject of asking clients whether they have been vaccinated?  Is it even ethical to do so? How do you get the balance of not dictating to clients but at the same time giving that accountability Mailchamp or active campaign for emailing  How would you recommend communicating to clients that you are moving online? "1) I feel as if my head has been up my arse the last week or so. I have managed to complete my most important tasks but that's about it. Any tips for getting back on track. 2) I'm considering leafleting my local area, do you have any advice on how to do this properly?" "Client Monthly Reviews As I get busier I feel it may be more challenging to fit in all my monthly reviews into the last week of every month. I usually do my monthly review over zoom, if me and my client are struggling to find a time that suits both of us, would it be ok for me to send them over a monthly review form & then record a video giving them feedback and discussing their goals for the next month? Another potential option I've came up with is to do their review at the end of their last PT session of the month. Would these options be ok if I can't fit their call in on the last week of the month?"

I have heard about a former PT in my gym stealing clients if PT’s and they weren’t happy about it, I wouldn’t do it intentionally but if I’m focused on speaking to and helping as many people as I can, how would I deal with this when I don’t focus on who’s clients is who’s? (I don’t want to be that type of pt) Movement assessment in the consultation or 1st session? i like to see how they move so i can advise them of how many sessions they should have with myself/alone following program. Different type of question to usual - any tips on how to manage your time during a session? I’m finding with a few clients we end up chatting a lot (much better than my issue when starting of awkward silences 😂), not an issue for the ones that do sessions outside of 121 as they add it on somewhere else but want to make sure those only doing 121 are getting most out of it How can I have a different onboarding journey through emails for online and offline or potentially a new product with stripe and Mailchimp please? When delivering a seminar would it be best online with slides or in person?  What do I write in one of my emails which will make people say 'oh my god, I need to have her as my coach!'?  "Just any general tips on converting online clients from a 6 week challenge to a rolling monthly plan  I currently have my 6week challenge which runs up to the Xmas break. My worry is they will then just stop at Xmas after the 6weeks and  I’ll then get a whole new intake of clients in January and will be starting all over again. I don’t mind starting over again as I was happy with my launch and I’ll get better each time  however I would like to retain clients obviously.  What's the optimal way to get clients to interact with one another?  "I am going to run a 21 days for £21 offer in December. I have some session times which are quieter than others, would it be okay to only make my quieter sessions available to those on the trial? Also would you run any offers in December to sign new people up for january?" Any ideas on how to make the most of classes for lead gen? Tips, CTAs, follow ups etc What's the one thing that PT's get caught up doing that doesn't matter as much as we think it does.  "I should've asked this question earlier. I have created a landing page for my 21 day trial and I am considering connecting it to stripe so people can sign up without having to go through me first.Would this be a bad idea incase someone either doesn't want to sign up without speaking to someone, or someone signs up but it turns out my service isn't a good fit for them?" Like we have an on boarding system in place for when new clients come into our business, could you have an ‘off’ boarding system where you have a specific way clients leave your business? I want my clients to leave with a good lasting impression if that makes sense 😊 Thanks

Questions covered this week ....  Still struggling to get people to book on for monthly reviews, how can I get across the value of these? Are they necessary for every client? Should I start with my new prices of my service or an introductory offer? I only told 1 person the intro prices but I have a feeling due to that, they won’t value other parts of the service, I can explain prices have gone up, but due to already agreeing, that I will keep the price the same for the 3 months I'm changing my payment method to monthly direct debits in the new year. What would you do if a member wanted to sign up, but couldn't make 1 or 2 weeks due to a holiday and therefore didn't want to pay for a full month? I think a potential option could be to increase their session frequency before and after their holiday so they're not missing out. I know this is an option for 1-2-1 but would it work with group coaching too? In some cases I don't think I'd mind charging for half a month if it meant keeping them in my business, but I can imagine it would be a bit of a pain to manage. If you were starting new in a commercial gym, what would you have as your 3-5 daily non negotiables. Do you rate leaflets/ posters for marketing? Eg if I included a QR code to a free 14-28 day program when completing a survey or something?

In this week session we cover;  How to improve adherence for a long term client How to know when you're not doing enough or the client isn't giving you enough Im doing an online exercise library for my clients - what is the best way to upload it? Google drive/FB/ APP?. How would you collect emails at the gym? 1. Would you produce different content accross different social media plateforms? Or can you post the same things accross IG, facebook, LinkedIn? If different, what would be the differences? 2. Any advice on local marketing, as a gym located in the city centre I am thinking about going into the offices in the building and offering either seminars (wellbeing at work, lunch at work, quick stretch routine) and/or flyers with intro to PT at half price. If someone takes ages to sign up after consultation/ you have to chase them a bit.. should this be seen as a red flag? Should you onboard them? How would you go about pursuing the local area as a marketing medium? Flyers/business cards in local clubs/shops? How to switch off from thinking about your business all the time?  Particularly when there is so much to do! A client of mine would like to pause her membership because she feels she "needs longer cardio sessions to give her body a jolt" would it be worth sitting down to discuss and potentially offering online 1-1 coaching or to pause it and let her go ahead on her own? I don't feel she values the online side and I have no space for in person 1-1.

Series 4 - Episode 5 - Week 4 Q&A from the transformation program

This week we answer the below questions;  Hopefully this makes sense. because you have to assess the needs and prescribe to a client what they need to build the service.  On a landing page for people to buy online coaching for example Would you still mention what online coaching includes for example (check ins, nutritional guidance etc) when they might not actually need some of it?  Once I've reviewed my pricing, do I increase my current f2f clients pricing, even if it's quite a bit higher? Or gradually bring it up? I'm unsure of what to do on this How to up money (I know u just did this but pure struggling with it, feel like my clients will just leave me but then does that mean there probs not the right clients?)  Would you recommend using a social media automation tool to allow you to create and schedule posts in advance? With regards to pricing. I was only working in the gym for 3 weeks before they closed again, so I have been building my online coaching for the time being.  How would you go about explaining the increase in price to a client who would like add in face-face coaching once the gyms re-open?  If a client is reluctant to goal setting with regards to short, medium and long term and is only interested in the short term goals, would you still stick to setting it out in this format or would you go with the way in which they prefer? My consultation was before we spoke about onboarding/consults so I now know it might have been a lack of MI and the set up on my part. Say you've gone through a consult, the convos gone well and client has bought into the plan of action, but their sole objection is price - how would you go about handling that? If you've recommended 3x a week for example and they could only afford 1x, would you then meet them there? If so, would doing that devalue what you've prescribed?  I currently just ask my clients to pay me via bank transfer but I now want to start setting up monthly direct debits. My main worry is that it may prevent people from signing up as they may feel trapped or feel as if they don't want to commit to a direct debit. Any tips on overcoming this potential barrier. If you get a cold lead message you would you ask them to fill in a pre-consult and book a call? I am unsure what to do and usually do a shorter version of a consult through messaging.How do I deal with clients that are so obsessed eating a takeaway most night? I have tried the home cook method but doesnt want to eat her own cooking.Best advice for starting the conversation on social that you're a coach and have 121 spots availble other than grid posts ? Is having two levels to your 121 service a good idea or would you say start with one then build it out from there? Hope this helps people out :-)
