Just last night, the Trump Administration formally dropped sanctions on RusAl, EN+ and one other company owned by his top Russian-American donor’s business partner. GOP Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell and his Senate allies voted against a resolution that overwhelmingly passed the House, which would have kept those sanctions in force. To make matters worse, Donald Trump has some pretty obvious kompromat over leader McConnell by virtue of his wife’s position in his Cabinet. Grant Stern interviews national security lawyer Bradley P. Moss, whose Washington, D.C. practice includes representing news organizations seeking the release of federal public records, whistleblowers and navigating the government’s security clearance process. Moss says that Trump’s announcement yesterday of a very selective declassification of the DOJ, FBI investigatory records of the Russia probe directly echoes the kind of abuse of power drawn up against President Nixon for Watergate.

Scott interviews former CIA officer David Priess delivered the President’s Daily Brief to Special Counsel Robert Mueller when he was the FBI Director and got to know him over the course of a year working closely with him. Priess signed an open letter this past week opposing the President’s politicization of the top secret clearances held by former top-ranking intelligence officers and agency directors. Chris Collins conspired with friends and family to break insider trading laws, warning them of an impending stock price collapse in the public drug company which he served as a Board Member and major shareholder, to help them save $768,000 in losses. Collins did it all from the White House lawn under the literal gaze of President Trump according to SDNY prosecutors’ indictment. Scott celebrates Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 74th Birthday today by counting down the first 74 impeachable offenses that we could think of, which President Trump has committed while in office for the last 564 days. Fittingly, Robert Mueller’s birthday falls on national Purple Heart Day, a solemn award that he won for his service to the United States as a soldier on the battlefields of Vietnam.

Scott slams the California Republican who has been working overtime to derail Mueller’s Russia probe to help Trump. Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) is back defending himself in another House Ethics investigation, based on the winery business relationship that we exposed with the Democratic Coalition last year. The House GOP Intel chairman Nunes materially omitted another one of his company holdings entirely off his financial disclosure forms. A Congressional ethics watchdog just filed a new complaint against the House Republican for that omission, and because of the tawny Napa winery which he part-owns has done a lot more than just the one business deal with Russia which it has adamantly stated was solely a one-off transaction. The Nunes complaint asks Congress to investigate the Alpha Omega Winery’s high-seas sex party with underage girls on a large yacht off the California coast.

Scott interviews Ashtyn Tayler, who provides first aid to refugees on the Southern Border of the United States. She described the squalid conditions there, with recent immigrants suffering from unchecked head and body lice infestations, having gone more than 10 days without bathing in Trump’s camps, where they were forced to eat, defecate and sleep in the same confined spaces. Ashtyn’s shocking and detailed description of their lives inside ICE detention exposes the havoc that Trump’s zero-tolerance policy of contempt and neglect for civil undocumented immigration offenses is inflicting upon immigrants.
