The Pour: They Shall Prophesy by Apostle Oscar Guobadia

Joel 2:28-29 NKJV “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days." When the Bible proclaimed ’I will pour out my spirit on all flesh and they shall prophesy, dream dreams and see visions,’ it conveyed the idea that prophecy, dreams and visions are the direct expressions of the outpouring of the Spirit. It is through the spirit poured into our lives that we can have prophecy, dreams and visions. These gifts are not limited by gender; they are not seeking a specific gender. The time is coming when the Spirit will show no partiality towards a particular type of person. Just as he came upon the men in the old days, he will come upon the women, just as he came upon Elijah he will come upon Deborah.

Reckoned Dead by Apostle Oscar Guobadia

Romans 6: 1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life

Apostolic Intelligence by Apostle Oscar Guobadia

Numbers 13.1-2: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, everyone a leader among them.” Entering a territory to observe and gather information about the land is commonly known as Reconnaissance: "This is a military observation of a region to locate an enemy or ascertain strategic features.” So, you venture into an enemy’s camp to conduct apostolic mapping, gathering intel and information by studying the land, the people, the culture and everything pertaining to that region. Subsequently, you return to your hometown to formulate strategic plans and implementations, aiming to carry out everything that you have observed with the ultimate goal of winning over the nation. This is what Moses did in Numbers 13. Reconnaissance can be conducted through a variety of methods including,  ground patrols, aerial surveillance, satellite imagery, electronic surveillance, and special operations forces. Therefore to study the land effectively, strategic measures similar to deploying spies must be implemented. The collective tools employed to map out a territory can be summed up in a single term: discernment.  Discernment is the apostolic tool that you can use to infiltrate an enemy’s territory. The purpose of gathering this intel is to formulate strategic plans and implementations for both the rest of the year and the future.

Ascend by Apostle Oscar Guobadia

Revelations 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." The Lord told John to 'come up here'. The word 'come up' in Greek is anabaino and it means to Ascend. To access the open door in heaven, you must Ascend because the door is not coming down to you. We must not only pray for the open door but also pray to Ascend.

Acts Chapter 26-28 | An Expository Commentary on The Book of Acts by Apostle Oscar Guobadia

ACTS: POWER, PERSECUTION, & PROVIDENCE  Our spiritual journey often leads us back to the origins of our faith, where foundations were laid and the blueprint for the church was established. For The Brook Place (TBP), the decision to embark on a profound exploration of the Book of Acts is deeply rooted in theology and our calling as the body of Christ in these modern times. The Book of Acts is a vivid account of the early church and how it came into being post-resurrection. Studying it brings us closer to the raw, unfiltered experience of our spiritual ancestors, laying bare the trials, challenges, and miracles they witnessed. The early church was not built on grand structures, large budgets, or the charisma of celebrity pastors. It thrived on the power of the Holy Spirit. Their fervour, determination, and miraculous deeds serve as a testament to what is possible when we lean solely on God's strength and not our own. As believers, we are not meant to merely read about the wonders of the early church; we are called to embody and replicate that same power. This study will serve as a timely reminder that the same Spirit that enabled Peter to preach and Paul to persevere resides in us. We, too, can walk in that power, enact change, and be catalysts for spiritual revival. The beauty of scripture is that it remains relevant across ages. Our journey through Acts won’t merely be a historical tour but an opportunity to draw parallels between the early church's experiences and our current context. This understanding will equip us to navigate our modern challenges with the wisdom and grace of the Apostles. As we delve into Acts, we'll unravel the church’s prophetic mandate on earth. The church was never meant to be a static institution but a dynamic, prophetic voice that heralds God’s kingdom and stands as a beacon of light. Acts will remind us of our duty to be agents of change, hope, and prophecy in our world.ACTS: POWER, PERSECUTION, & PROVIDENCE  Our spiritual journey often leads us back to the origins of our faith, where foundations were laid and the blueprint for the church was established.
