Keddie, California, a town that hosted a population of less than 100 people, would be devastated in the spring of 1981 when the brutal murders of three individuals and the abduction of a fourth would occur at the Keddie Resort’s Cabin 28. On April 12th, 1981, 14 year old Sheila Sharp, walked in the front door of the small cabin, and was met with the bound, bloodied bodies of her mother, her brother and her brother's friend, her only sister Tina, was missing. The violent murders and the abduction of Tina Sharp would set off an unfortunately confusing  investigation that is still ongoing. In 1987, Richard Lee McNair committed a murder and wounded another man in a failed robbery. He is currently serving two life sentences for these crimes, not to mention, his successful escapes from prison. McNair managed to escape on three separate occasions from three different institutions. One time using lip balm! Thirty-one year old Matthew Ryan Stewart was a devoted family man, who was born and raised in Mooresville, NC. He proudly graduated from Mooresville High School and Mitchell Community College. As an adult, Matt dedicated himself to a career in nursing. His co-workers remember his bright spirit, diligent work ethic, and playful nature. Last October a 25-year-old, North Carolina woman named Shanquella Robinson went on a trip to Cabo Mexico with a group of six people she called ‘friends’. A day later she is found dead in the villa the group rented, with the ‘friends’ telling Robinson’s family that Shanquella died of alcohol poisoning, although the death certificate read very differently. It stated Shanquella suffered a spinal cord injury, and not only that, a video of Shanquella being violently assaulted was also discovered. When two-year-old Crystal Robertson was found wandering alone outside of a K-mart in Spanaway Washington, in a catatonic state, in mid-December of 1985, police immediately suspected something was seriously wrong. A young black man, working out of town, calls his mom and tells her he is having problems at work, he's scared for his life, and is being harassed by ‘trucks full of white men’. He goes to the police and repeats the same concerns to them, but nothing is done to help him. A family member is sent to pick him up and bring him home. But when she shows up at the  meeting spot there is no sign of the man. When his severely decomposed body is found scattered throughout the woods of Taylorsville Mississippi, a month later, the police claim there is ‘no signs of foul play’. In January of 2015 two bird watchers came upon a decomposing hand near New York's famous Coney Island. Then, throughout the winter of that year more body parts were popping up around the area. In 2015, 32-year old Henry McCabe went out with his friends for drinks on Labor Day weekend. The men partied until the early hours of the morning. Henry was then dropped off at a gas station miles from his home, without his keys and wallet. That night a voicemail was captured of Henry. The war continued in the most northern reaches of New England until the signing of the Treaty of Casco Bay on April 12, 1678. On July 6, 2003, just after 1pm, 70 year-old Ernestine Harper was lying in bed taking a nap having just returned home from church. Ernestine was an activist in the local area of Bakersfield California, and had only been lying down a little while when she was awoken by gun shots. Ms. Harper pulled an antique revolver from her nightstand that she had purchased months before, she exited her room and was met in the hallway by a killer with a gun. She was able to pull the trigger six times, but because of the age and condition of the gun, all six were misfires. And Ernestine was gunned down. Two days later the entire community of Bakersfield was alerted that a family of five had been murdered. Ernestine, her daughter Joanie and Joanie's three young children (4,2,6 weeks)were all found dead in their home. Three generations of the Harpers family had just been erased. Normally we try to give every story their individual spotlight on this show, but in this case it was necessary to mention these two women together.  The cases are not legally connected. The women did not know each other. Though they both were reported dead on the same day, in the same city, in eerily similar fashions. But the main thread that connects them is in the gross mishandling of their cases by the Bridgeport, Connecticut Police department. In the late evening of August 21, 1986 a killer swept through the Cameroonian village of Nyos. This killer claimed the lives of every man, woman, child, and animal it came across. By the morning of the 22nd, nearly 2000 people were found dead. As a child, Jelani Day was witness to a specific human behavior that helped shape him as a person. Jelani’s childhood friend Paul struggled with a speech impediment that opened him up to bullying from other children. Even as a kid Jelani knew treating Paul like the other children was wrong. November 6, 2011 Julia wakes around 8am  to find Sky not feeling well. So she gets Sky and his sister dressed, grabs only her keys, leaving her phone, wallet and purse at the apartment, she leaves for the hospital which is  just a few miles down the road. She takes a very desolate road, it's on that road Julia claims her car ran out of gas. So Julia gets her 4 year old daughter out of the car, secures Sky in his car seat, shuts the door and walks about a mile to the nearest gas station. She left Sky in his car seat in the car, and left to go get gas. It takes her an hour to make the one mile walk. When she gets to the gas station she calls a friend who lives nearby and asks if she can come pick her up. January 10, 2013, Kendrick Johnson gets up, gets dressed and arrives at school as usual, he's a student at Lowndes High School in Valdosta Georgia. The Order of the Solar Temple also known as the International Order of Chivalry Solar Traditions was a New Age Religious Movement that has roots in the Knights Templar. Terrance Woods Jr. was 26 at the time of his disappearance, he was working as a production assistant for a London based production company called Raw TV. On August 18, 2010 Amber Tuccaro, her 14- month old son (Jacob) and a female friend left their hometown of Fort McMurray and flew to Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. In front of the house are acres of cleared farm fields and behind the house is a creek that runs down and makes a swift turn right behind the house and heading away from the house. The creek has thick woods on each bank. The guys look up and down the long driveway, then cross over the road to look along the tree line on the other side. The 2009 Taconic State Parkway crash was a traffic collision that occurred on Sunday, July 26, 2009, on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Mount Pleasant, near the village of Briarcliff Manor, New York.
