We tend to look at life in a very binary way, measuring its successes against its failures and believing that the successes or the proverbial wins are the only ones that really matter. But it’s in a failure, likely more than our successes that we find our true center. We find the areas of our life that are chalked full of shame, guilt, self-hate, disappointment, trauma, and quite plainly pain. It’s in those moments that we really find the parts of ourselves that we hide away, that are overlooked, pushed down, ignored, shielded, and under-explored. We learn that we are not made up of sugar and spice and everything nice instead, we are a mix of dark and light, daytime and night, the yin and yang that’s meant to work together in the balance of our human life. Welcome to our first Bilingual Episode! #stoked. It was so amazing to interview Cátia Machado Dos Santos who had so many beautiful things to say about how we can unlock beautiful wisdom from our higher self, when we rid ourselves oppressive programming. "At the age of 19, I started looking for the answers to my present difficulties, my anguish, fears, insecurities; in relation to the world and myself. No path I have traveled outside and no one has given me these answers. I was never able to find my answers outside of myself. One night, before going to sleep, I started to question where my answers were, I started to question the cause of my limitations, fears and anguish, but directing these questions into myself, looking for a place inside me where there was a drawer that I could open and discover or remember a piece of my history frozen in time, so I could understand my present, which was all broken and missing pieces.Little by little I started to remember my dreams more clearly and have flashes of answers to my questions.This became a daily exercise. I felt that all the answers were inside me and that I was starting to access them.Gradually, I began to feel that my inner universe was more connected to the outer universe, interconnected; and more and more I saw the synchronicity between the two of them. Just as the structure and mechanism of the two universes were identical. I experienced the Laws described in the #Kybalion book, seeing them as supporting this method. Philosophical, mental and #alchemical support, with great capacity for mutation. Everything experientially, not just a mental process. Then I felt more steady on the path. And the method became clearer to me. To complement, in a moment of the Journey, I got the #Runic stones from a friend. An old alphabet.I felt in the runic writings the tools of conscious connection between the micro and the macro, as a dynamic, self-evolving, self-conscious and self-transcendent form of the processes. The writing has been adapting and improving through evolutionary scales of perceptions and understandings of the process and methodology as a whole. Becoming more and more a living tool in the process. The #Runes of this work are unique, they evolved, they are in harmony and conformity with the Laws that govern the universe inside and outside us. The process can be accessed by anyone who wants to do their inner diving and seek answers within themselves, without masters or intermediaries. The method consists in questioning the difficulties of the present, searching for the cause, working the cause at a #conscious level, through the runic tools and the understanding of the #Hermetic Laws. The answers can come through dreams, as well as at a conscious level.This is my story, and how this method was formed. How I deciphered this method, inside and outside myself. And this is the method that I use to get to know myself and the world. Christine Ramos is a maternal-child health Registered Nurse who has worked as a Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Doula, and an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has earned two baccalaureate degrees. Prior to becoming an RN, Christine was a social worker for ten years in the mental health field. There she worked therapeutically with people who have mental health and substance abuse challenges. In 1996, after having her second son, she felt a call to work with mothers and babies. Soon afterward, she completed the 69 college credits needed to get a second bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1 year. As a hospital RN, Christine worked briefly in cardiac units before specializing in maternal-child health. Before becoming disabled in 2011, Christine worked for the New York City Dept. of Reproductive Health and taught parent education classes at a major NY hospital. Ever since she can remember, Christine has been a physical, emotional, cognitive, and intuitive empath who can perceive the human energy field. This perception comes to her as sensations in and on her own body. These abilities have led her on a path to search for the truths that enable her to make sense of what she learned from her academic sources with what she can perceive on an extrasensory level. Thomas W. The launch of SANCTUAIRE is a long-time dream that has now come to fruition for Courtney Arrington-Baldwin. Tyrone Brown had his first UFO experience when he was 10 years old along with a barrage of mystical experience from a young age. His first contact, spurred his interest in the dream world so much so he became a dream interpreter . He believes that dreams are a hug untapped resource we have the opportunity to engage with every night to get guidance and messages from beyond. Fast forward to adult life... He spent a few years working as a stuntman, along side a corporate job, until a meditative experience shattered his reality. David Jones is a teacher & coach utilizing the Jungian alchemy through Tarot Readings, journaling prompts, cognitive behavioral techniques and shadow work. David first stumbled upon the concept of alchemy in college when he encountered the study of hermetics, the concept of “as above so below” relating to an ancient occult tradition encompassing alchemy, astrology, and theosophy. But David found that you could also use magical thinking to keep that inner child happy, engaged and creative to cultivate a life you’ve always wanted thought an alchemic process of experimentation.
