The landmark virtual clash of two Jamaican artists was the first of its kind & will go down in the record books as one of the best virtual memories in the history of Jamaican music. The world showed up & showed support, but how about the new generation Dancehall artists? Did they show support or pay homage to the legends?

Did yesteryear Jamaican artists set a good foundation for the new generation (on a business level)?
Devin Di Dakta was a recent guest on RT LIVE. After about an hour of spirited back & forth, the conversation shifted to the new generation artist vs. the yesteryear artist. Devin said he respects many of the older artists, but many of them don’t inspire him because they didn’t set a good foundation for the new generation. Did they? What are your thoughts?
