Lacey Free #2
Rainbow Brainskull is back! Who better to kick off the revival with than Lacey Free?
Lacey Free is a shadow witch and host of Hoar Pod. She's magic and her first appearance on this show was an audience favorite. This episode is another great one!
From Lacey's website:
*"I’m Lacey, a wandering soul who thrives on evolution and passion. I bite my lip sometimes nearly bursting with opinions. There is excitement in my eyes, but if you look closely you can see a flame of courage. I am a birth doula. I am a death doula. I am a modern day madam and sex work enthusiast. Being a witch is in my blood.
I thought I could never be a healer because I am not fully healed, but then I realized no healer “heals” another being. Healers just hold safe space and resources for another being to heal themself.
I am here to hold safe space. I am here to offer plant and herb resources. I am here to invoke the jumping of timelines and travel of dimensions.
I am here to wake the Galactic. I am here for the Galactic to wake me."

Gregory Allison
Gregory Allison is a violinist, composer, and one of the most dedicated musicians I know.
He creates with a single violin a sound that travels across great landscapes. He brings the sensibility of a film composer into a live and intimate setting. His training in South Indian Classical music brings a melodic fluency and emotional fire to his compositions while his Western Classical training is apparent in the wide sonic palette that he creates. He is a sound shaper. His violin goes from intimate weeping to orchestral soundscapes, carrying the listener on a journey all the way.
Gregory runs his own record label called Holy Volcano and has a awesome new album out now called Portal. Each track on the album represents an energy center in the body, An exploration of the seven centers of awakening. Listen and feel your entire body activate!

Cory Loykasek is a comedian and one of the creators of my current favorite show: "The Dress Up Gang".
"The Dress Up Gang" is set in a surreal version of Los Angeles. Donny and Cory are roommates who look out for each other. Ambrosia Matthews is a psychic medium and a channel who has been able to see, hear and communicate with spirits since the age of 5. Death is just an illusion. You’ll see!
She has been working as a professional intuitive since 2018, offering psychic medium readings to help people heal, gain clarity, and connect with their loved ones in spirit.
Additionally Ambrosia is a channel for a collection of Arcturian energy, referred to as The Arc9. This Arcturian energy came through several years ago in order to help humanity ascend and understand their human experience.
Ambrosia shares her wisdom, intuitive insights and humor through a podcast called Innerbloom that she hosts with her best friend Alexa Houser. Ambrosia and Alexa host transformational retreats together, combining their gifts of channeling, intuitive coaching, EFT, inner child work and more in order to create containers and community for light workers to expand.
Ambrosia also has a passion for educating other intuitives about how to properly utilize and control their gifts. She offers classes as well as private coaching to create a safe and fun experience for her students and clients.
Mention RAINBOW BRAINSKULL for a discount on your first session with Ambrosia!
Also, I don’t claim to know how channeling or psychic abilities work but I like to refer to the Carl Jung quote:
”I shall not commit the fashionable stupidity of regarding everything I cannot explain as a fraud.”

Archan Nair
Archan Nair is an artist based out of Berlin, Germany. Archan's visual expressions are influenced by the mysteries of our existence and how every action, emotion, and our interconnectedness in a universal scale sets off a chain of reactions which we experience from the micro to the macro scale.
In addition to having an instantly recognizable style, Archan has a gift for talking about the wonder of creation in a way that is inspiring and contagious.
We talk about the purpose of creation, achieving higher states of consciousness without the use of any substances, and an awakening experience involving visions of Neem Karoli Baba before even learning about Ram Dass’s connection to the guru.

Mark Normand
Mark Normand is a comedian based in New York City.
I first met Mark back in 2010. Since then he’s appeared on The Tonight Show, Conan (6 times), had a special on Comedy Central, opened for Seinfeld, and started one of my favorite podcasts: Tuesdays with Stories (with Mark Normand and Joe List). Too Small to Cancel!
Mark is fearless without being ”edgy”. To me, being overly-transgressive or competitively-woke are equally boring. In a time when many are busy being trolls or the morality police, Mark has stayed true to writing great material and being an actual touring stand-up comedian.
He’s still got it! Give him a Goog, Fatty!

Lacey Free
Lacey Free is a shadow witch. She’s also a magician of the sacred feminine, healer of the divine masculine, certified birth doula, certified death doula, performance poet, herbal connoisseur and energy reader.
In addition to all of that, she manages one of the only women-owned strip clubs in the country!
I first heard Lacey on an epic two-part episode of Soberish and knew she had to be a Brainskull guest.
I reached out before the episode was even finished and less than a few weeks later we got to record THIS episode AND a bonus episode for Patreon where we’re joined by our mutual friend Jessa Reed on the night of a full moon portal opening. Robin Eisenberg
Robin Eisenberg is one of my favorite artists. She has an iconic style that's instantly recognizable. Most people have seen her work before even knowing who she is.
Robin has created her own universe you wish you could step into. It's cozy, futuristic, alien, mysterious, and sexy. I love that it looks good at the large scale AND at the small scale. She'll paint giant murals and then makes the same magic happen on a tiny enamel pin. Or a banana.
Robin teaches workshops for Adobe, creates designs for Vans, makes music videos, and is still discovering new ways to expand her style. We talk about making art, world-building, jazz piano, Star Trek, time management, taking care of business, virtual reality, and the need for solitude without feeling isolated.

The Teafaerie
The Teafaerie is a writer, flow arts teacher, space nerd, zero-g enthusiast, superhero, and a billion other things. She is most well-known for her amazing column on Erowid.org and many refer to her as their favorite psychedelic speaker.
I first heard The Teafaerie on Future Fossils podcast and ended up listening to her episode over and over again like it was my favorite record. I HAD to have her on my show. So I emailed Michael Garfield and asked for an intro. After much scheduling and rescheduling, we made it happen!
The Teafaerie makes me excited about the future. She reminds me how lucky we all to even have avatars right now. Do you know how many people would kill to have an avatar in 2019? Sure we have many challenges we must confront and there will be losses along the way, but how great is it to be alive in this strange ever-accelerating future present?
I have never met anyone like the Teafaerie and I’m confident that you haven’t either. She’s a character in her own category and she speaks poetically at lightspeed.

Sean Dunne & Cass Greener
Sean Dunne and Cass Greener are two of my favorite humans/space cadets. They are the creators behind the Very Ape podcast and the Church of Chill. They are also amazing documentary filmmakers with a talent for getting out of the way. Their films are raw yet uniquely engaging and memorable.
I first met these magical psychonauts a couple of years ago and I’ve been a Very Ape listener ever since. It’s hard to describe the Very Ape podcast. Nevertheless, I enjoy the official iTunes description:
Welcome to the place beyond the bullshit. A high vibration conversation about psychedelic healing, consciousness expansion, revolutionary politics, sex, and art.
Sean and Cass are most definitely beyond The Bullshit. They are sweet, honest, caring, adventurous, fun and watching them grow has helped me grow. They felt like old friends within minutes of first meeting them and can’t wait til there’s teleportation so I can see them more often!

Johnny Pemberton
Johnny Pemberton is a comedian, actor, writer based in Los Angeles. He’s one of my favorite performers to watch live.
Johnny is the voice of ”Peanut” on the Disney XD show Pickle and Peanut. He plays ”Bo” on NBC’s Superstore, ”Max” on You’re The Worst, and ”Alangulon” on Son of Zorn. He has also appeared in many films including 21 Jump Street, Ant Man, In the Loop, Band of Robbers, and Action Point.
Johnny is one of the most inventive comics out there. He’s always creating some new character or trying some far out experiment on stage. It’s always funny and he inspires me to take more chances with what I do.
I highly recommend checking out his podcast ”Live To Tape”. It’s a great combination of interviews along with a healthy dose of eccentric audio. There’s nothing else like it!
We talk music, motivation, social media rage, and how our childhood can affect most of our decisions as adults.

Cory Allen is an author, podcast host, meditation teacher, and audio engineer from Austin, Texas.
His podcast, The Astral Hustle, is one of my favorite shows in the whole world. The show features leading experts in mindfulness, neuroscience, and philosophy and is consistently effective at helping me unlock doors within my psyche. Also, Cory has the most deep, soothing podcast voice in the biz.
We talk about his new book NOW IS THE WAY: An Unconventional Approach to Modern Mindfulness.
I’ve read all of the NOW books, so I picked up this book expecting to just skim over it. I ended up reading the WHOLE THING in one sitting. It changed my entire day. I was happy, I got all my work done, I wrote everyone back, I exercised.
This book LIBERATED my from my RUT. I’m so free now that I’m going to give away a hardcover copy of it RIGHT NOW. On Instragram. (Contest ends on 9/24 at 11:59PM PST)

David Ward is a filmmaker based in Austin, Texas.
He has worked as director, writer, and producer on countless films, sketches, commercials. His stuff has been featured on Rolling Stone, NFL.com, Sports Illustrated, LA Times, and more.
David is also one of the quickest, most efficient editors I’ve ever witnessed in my life. Watching him at normal speed in an edit-bay he does things in seconds where it would have taken me minutes. He is a teacher of many hotkeys and shortcuts.
David helped produce my first comedy album, You Were Good Too. He has always been a great creative partner who encourages high weirdness while also focusing on quality.
We talk about making films and acting on ideas while they’re still fresh. Also, we reminisce about the good ol’ days of making weekly videos for our group channel called Humordy, home of Do Anything Stoned and Strippy Toons.

Jessa Reed is a comedian + podcaster. Her story is wild.
A teen mom turned meth addict turned comedian, Jessa tells raw and candid stories about about her past and her new life as a homeschooling housewife trying to blend in with the normal people. Her honesty is shocking, inspirational and not for the faint of heart.
Jessa has appeared on Comedy Central's "This is not Happening" and is Co-Host of the popular podcasts "Mormon and the Meth-Head" and "Soberish".
After a near-death experience, Jessa became part of a blue ball of energy that was EVERYTHING. She spoke with aliens/guides that told her about the shift that humanity would go through and how to help. She still talks to them.
This episode we talk about Alien School, the predictions that have already taken place, and what is coming NEXT.
The boundaries between Male/Female, Living/Dead, Past/Future are going away.
We talk about what this higher dimension/octave will be like.

Drennon has performed on CONAN, Comedy Central, and pretty much ever festival in the world. He has a NEW podcast on Himalaya called BANDTASTIC: a sci-fi musical adventure about the most popular band in the universe.
Assembled by a super intelligent spaceship, D.E.B.R.A. and not so intelligent robot sidekick R.A.N.D.Y., the intergalactic musicians travel to new worlds with one goal - to solve all of their problems through their incredible songs (byah byah byah!).

Dweezil Zappa is one of the greatest guitarists alive today. The level of detail he and his band puts into their performances is proof alone that live music is far from dead.
Dweezil’s upcoming tour celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of his father Frank Zappa’s album “Hot Rats”. Anyone who listens to this podcast regularly knows that I bring up Frank Zappa pretty much every episode, and while it’s tough to pick a favorite record, Hot Rats is definitely up there. It showcases some of Frank’s most intriguing orchestration and album production. Peaches En Regalia, Willie the Pimp, Son of Mr. Green Genes, Little Umbrellas, The Gumbo Variations, It Must Be a Camel, and more during “Hot Rats Live plus Other Hot Stuff”!
I’ve had the chance to see Dweezil in concert twice and he really does the impossible.
Surrounded by the most talented musicians available, he continues to honor his father's music and displays it in a fresh context for new audiences who were born too late!
As if all that wasn’t impressive enough, Dweezil is also scheduled to perform with Experience Hendrix Tour this fall.

His book, My Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything) presents a model of reality that unifies general relativity (the BIG stuff), quantum mechanics (the tiny stuff), and metaphysics (the woo-woo stuff) along with the origins of consciousness (YOU).
The punchline is: we live in a VIRTUAL REALITY.
We’ve all heard it before: It’s the MATRIX, a SCHOOL, a GAME, but how do you arrive at that from a physics standpoint? What’s the POINT of all this? Where does CHOICE come into play? How come I can’t FLY? Tom talks about how reality works at the fundamental level and what it is we’re doing here as eternal individuated units of CONSCIOUSNESS.

We go into the backstory briefly, but you can hear the detailed version on the Tangentially Speaking podcast.

Michael Garfield
Michael Garfield is the host of my current favorite podcast, FUTURE FOSSILS. It's such a trip, I don't even know how to describe it. It is filled with the most enriching discussions about art, music, technology, science, the future, and how they are all mixing together. There's not a single weak episode so I tell everyone to just pick an episode at random and it'll be good.
Michael is a paleontologist, musician, artist, author, and a great interview. He's the first remote episode I've ever taped. I used to be worried about sound quality, but some of my favorite episodes of FUTURE FOSSILS have terrible sound quality and I didn't even care cause the convos were just that good.
Enjoy this episode and check out http://www.michaelgarfieldart.com to go down the Michael Garfield rabbit hole.
