This is a show where we’ll, you guessed it, cover punk music! But we’ll be paying special attention to bands with ties to the Midwest. You always hear about the east coast and west coast scenes, but the Midwest needs some love too! We’re going to highlight some bands we know and some that we discover (with your help), but from time to time we’ll also cover some general topics - our favorite bands, insight into the culture, history of the punk scene, etc. Sometimes we might even stray outside of punk-specific topics because more than anything our goal is to share music with you that’s worth a listen! Your hosts are Brian Bergholm and Carl Kurek - coworkers at Lakeshore Public Radio located in Northwest Indiana - who share a life-long love for punk music and culture. If you’re local you can tune in Wednesdays at 12 a.m. on 89.1 FM, but you can also stream episodes anytime from anywhere at LakeshorePublicRadio.org. Be sure to tag some of your favorite local bands (maybe it’s your band)
