《Do you hear the people sing》是改编自维克多·雨果著名长篇小说的音乐剧《悲惨世界》最为脍炙人口的插曲之一，由法国音乐剧作曲家克劳德-米歇尔·勋伯格和阿兰·鲍伯利（Alain Boublil）共同创作谱曲。该曲催人振奋，意义深远，是虽败犹荣的法国“小革命”最为悲壮的一曲乐章（ABC之友是个以学生为主体的宣传革命并领导了那场法国“小”革命的组织）。这个版本是1995年10月8日，于艾伯特音乐厅（Royal Albert Hall）举行悲惨世界十周年纪念音乐会上，曾经出演过《悲惨世界》最优秀的演员聚集一堂，最后由十七位来自不同国家Valjean出场——并用用各自的语言一齐演唱《Do You Hear the People Sing》。
