Racist Conspiracy

In an interview with Fox News, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley said “We are not a racist country.” When asked by host Brian Kilmeade if the GOP is a racist party, Haley made a broader point that the US has “never been a racist country.” We’re not a racist country, Brian. We’ve never been a racist country,” she said. “Our goal is to make sure that today is better than yesterday. Are we perfect? No. But our goal is always to make sure we try and be more perfect every day that we can.”I know I faced racism when I was growing up. But I can tell you, today is much better than it was then. Our goal is to lift everybody. Do not go and divide people on race gender or party or anything else. We’ve had enough of that in America,” she added. Her campaign later affirmed Haley’s statement.“America has always had racism, but America has never been a racist country,” a campaign spokesman said. “The liberal media always fails to get that distinction. It can throw a fit, but that doesn’t change Nikki’s belief that America is special because its people always strive to do better and live up to our founding ideals of freedom and equality.”Haley previously faced criticism for failing to mention slavery when initially asked by a voter about the cause of the Civil War during a town hall last month. Following mounting backlash, Haley said “of course” slavery was the cause of the Civil War, adding she assumed it was a “given.”

“White rage” is racial neo-diversity anxiety catching that fire. Corrupt Supreme Court Conspiracy

The Supreme Court has run out of excuses. Earlier this month, after ProPublica revealed that Justice Clarence Thomas frequently takes lavish vacations funded by billionaire Republican donor Harlan Crow, Thomas attempted to defend himself by claiming that this sort of “personal hospitality from close personal friends” is fine because Crow “did not have business before the court.”As it turns out, that’s not true. As Bloomberg reports, the Supreme Court — including Justice Thomas — briefly considered a $25 million copyright dispute involving a company that Crow was a partial owner of in 2005. At that point, Crow had already given several gifts to Thomas, including a $19,000 Bible that once belonged to Frederick Douglass.

Although African Americans make up only 14% of the U.S. population, they spend $573 million on personal hygiene items; $810 million on bottled water; and $151 million in the luxury non-essential products market (which includes items such as watches and fragrances). Constitutional Conspiracy

Donald Trump's legal team has argued against an attempt to have him thrown off the presidential ballot in Colorado in 2024 by suggesting the wording of the U.S. Constitution's insurrection clause does not apply to him. The Colorado Supreme Court agreed to hear an appeal on a lawsuit filed by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) watchdog group and Republican figures, who argue that Trump's actions on January 6, 2021, violated Section Three of the 14th Amendment and therefore he should be prohibited from running for the White House again. The section states a person who "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" after taking an oath of office to support the Constitution should be barred from running for office again. In a previous ruling, lower court judge Sarah B. Wallace said that Trump had "engaged in the insurrection" on January 6, the day of the Capitol riot, but should remain on Colorado's primary ballot as the wording of the 14th Amendment does not specifically mention preventing people from running for the presidency. In their appeal against the Colorado lawsuit, Trump's lawyers reiterated that the wording of Section Three does not apply to people running for president and that Trump technically did not swear an oath to "support" the Constitution. Instead, during his January 2017 inauguration, Trump swore to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution during his role as president.

Stay In Power Conspiracy

A former attorney for Donald Trump told prosecutors in Georgia that a senior White House official insisted to her that the then-president had no plans to leave office “under any circumstances” despite losing the 2020 election and multiple legal challenges to try to remain in power. Jenna Ellis, a key figure in Trump’s effort to remain in power, made the remarks in an interview with investigators in Fulton County after pleading guilty to a lesser charge in the state’s indictment of Trump and 18 other co-conspirators. District Attorney Fani Willis charged the group with more than a dozen felonies, alleging participants engaged in a sweeping conspiracy to try to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election results.

Cry Baby Conspiracy

Jenna Ellis, an attorney who advised then-President Donald Trump as he tried to overturn the 2020 election results, was censured for misconduct Wednesday by a Colorado Supreme Court judge. The Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel said that Ellis violated a Colorado rule for professional conduct that prohibits “misrepresentation” by attorneys. The office said Ellis made a series of public statements about the 2020 election that were false.“The public censure in this matter reinforces that even if engaged in political speech, there is a line attorneys cannot cross, particularly when they are speaking in a representative capacity,” the office said in a statement. Bryon M. Large, a presiding disciplinary judge for the state’s Supreme Court, approved the censure. In an opinion, Large said that Ellis had “repeatedly” put forward misrepresentations on national TV and Twitter that undermined public confidence in the 2020 presidential election. Last month, Ellis’ lawyer had filed a stipulation agreeing to public censure of his client and acknowledging 10 misrepresentations in the aftermath of the 2020 election, including repeatedly claiming that the election was stolen from Trump. Ellis also acknowledged misleading comments stemming from claims she made on Fox Business about affidavits from witnesses, voter intimidation, and statistics that proved a “coordinated effort” to transfer votes from Trump to Biden. According to the signed stipulation, she made similar claims on Twitter. Ellis pleaded guilty in the RICO trial in Georgia.

Christianity Conspiracy

OPINION Robert Jeffress: 3 reasons why Christians care about IsraelFirst, there are spiritual reasons that we support Israel. The land of Israel is the birthplace of our Christian faith. It is where Jesus Christ lived and died rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. It is the place where we believe Jesus, the Messiah, will one day return and establish His future earthly kingdom. Second, there are historical reasons that Christians support Israel. God promised Abraham, the father of the Jews, that He would give to him and his descendants the land that currently makes up modern-day Israel (Genesis 15:18–21). God confirmed that promise to Abraham’s son Isaac and grandson Jacob, who was called “Israel” (Genesis 26:3; 28:13; 32:28). Third, there are geopolitical reasons that Christians care about Israel. In the past, American support of Israel has been bipartisan. (Remember, President Truman was a Democrat!) Only recently has congressional support for Israel become a partisan issue. We are seeing that partisanship on full display this week as many Democrat contenders for president are skipping the American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference in Washington. Since 1948, the nation of Israel has been America’s staunchest ally in the Middle East—virtually every sitting president since Dwight D. Eisenhower has visited Israel. And Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump met to demonstrate solidarity between our two countries.

The Banana Republic

Trump wants to turn America into a banana republic. Here is an example of the same interrupting a previously scheduled “Briefing on Drug Trafficking on the Southern Border,” President Trump called reporters into the Oval Office on Wednesday afternoon and personally announced the grounding of every Boeing 737 Max in America. The move surprised White House advisers, two of whom told the Washington Post that Trump had earlier agreed to allow the Federal Aviation Administration, which has the legal authority to ground the planes, to make the announcement. Why was the United States acting so long after other countries had ordered the planes out of the sky, following a deadly crash in Ethiopia? Is this really how America’s air safety decisions are supposed to be made? Nobody seemed to know. But one thing was apparent: Trump—a self-styled aviation expert, who cites his ownership of a Boeing 757 and his brief time running the Trump Shuttle airline, which went bust, in 1992, as the basis of his expertise—had once again inserted himself where he loves to be, right in the middle of a big story.

Republican Criminality Conspiracy

WASHINGTON -- Rep. George Santos easily survived a vote Wednesday to expel him from the House as most Republicans and 31 Democrats opted to withhold punishment while both his criminal trial and a House Ethics Committee investigation proceed. The effort to kick Santos out of the House was led by his fellow New York Republicans, who are anxious to distance themselves from a colleague infamous for fabricating his life story and accused of stealing from donors, lying to Congress, and receiving unemployment benefits he did not deserve. However, the resolution failed to gain the required two-thirds vote. Supporters could not even gain a simple majority, with the final vote being 179 for expulsion and 213 against. To succeed, numerous Republican lawmakers would have had to break ranks with newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson, who has said Santos should get his day in court. Johnson, R-La., also recently told Fox News that if Congress is going to expel members because they are charged with a crime or accused of wrongdoing, “that's a problem.”Some Democrats also voiced concerns about getting ahead of the Ethics Committee, which issued a rare memo the day before, citing the depth of its investigation with some 40 witnesses contacted and the issuance of 37 subpoenas. It also said the next steps of the committee's investigation would be announced by Nov. 17.

A Colorado judge has rejected an attempt by former President Donald Trump to dismiss a lawsuit that seeks to keep him off the state ballot, ruling that his objections on free-speech grounds did not apply. Trump’s attorneys argued that a Colorado law protecting people from being sued over exercising their free speech rights shielded him from the lawsuit, but Colorado District Judge Sarah Wallace said that law doesn’t apply in this case. The law also conflicted with a state requirement to get the question about Trump's eligibility resolved quickly — before a Jan. 5 deadline for presidential candidates' names to be certified for the Colorado primary, Wallace wrote. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington claims in its lawsuit that putting Trump on the ballot in Colorado would violate a provision of the 14th Amendment that bars people who have “engaged in insurrection” against the Constitution from holding office.

Constitutional Conspiracy

Determining whether a Civil War-era Constitutional amendment disqualifies Donald Trump from Colorado’s ballot holds enough public benefit that a lawsuit seeking to bar him as a candidate can continue, a Denver judge ruled this week. A group of Colorado voters, backed by a liberal watchdog group, is arguing the 14th Amendment bars Trump from Colorado’s ballot. The amendment prohibits people from holding office if they have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the country. The lawsuit, filed by Republican and unaffiliated Colorado voters, cites Trump’s alleged role in the Jan. 6, 2021, siege of the nation’s Capitol, as meeting that bar. Trump’s lawyers argued in September that the lawsuit was an attempt to infringe on his First Amendment right to freedom of speech. They sought to dismiss the claim under a Colorado law aimed at protecting people from frivolous lawsuits for exercising that right. Without ruling on the merits of the case, Denver District Court Judge Sarah B. Wallace ruled Wednesday that “in short, it is in the public’s interest that only qualified and faithful candidates be allowed to seek public office,” and that an exemption to that law applied.“It goes without saying that, in the abstract, ensuring that only constitutionally qualified candidates can seek to hold the highest office in the country, particularly when the disqualification sought is based on allegations of insurrection against the very government over which the candidate seeks to preside, seeks to enforce an important right which confers a significant benefit to the public,” Wallace wrote. A trial on the lawsuit is scheduled for the end of the month, though backers expect it may ultimately reach the U.S. Supreme Court, which has never ruled on the provision.

Trump Lawyers Stiffed Conspiracy

Donald Trump has fallen out with his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and is refusing to pay the former New York mayor’s legal bills, it was reported, with the president feeling abandoned and frustrated during his last days in office. Giuliani played a key role in Trump’s failed attempts to overturn the results of November’s presidential election through the courts. The lawyer mounted numerous spurious legal challenges, traveling to swing states won by Joe Biden, and spreading false claims the vote was rigged.According to the Washington Post, relations between Trump and Giuliani have dramatically cooled. Trump has instructed his aides not to pay Giuliani’s outstanding fees. The president is reportedly offended by Giuliani’s demand for $20,000 a day – a figure the lawyer denies, but which is apparently in writing. White House officials have even been told not to put through any of Giuliani’s calls. Commenting on the report, Ken Frydman, who worked as Giuliani’s press secretary in the 1990s, said: “Lay down with dogs. Wake up with fleas and without $20,000 a day”.The apparent breach with Giuliani – one of Trump’s most loyal and sycophantic supporters – has contributed to the president’s sense of isolation and betrayal, aides have suggested.

It was suggested at the time that the former president's handing over sensitive information from Israel could have damaged the relationship between the two countries. Napolitano, former New Jersey Superior Court judge and friend of Trump’s, told The Post.“These are indisputable facts — the case is based entirely on the documents his lenders and his insurance companies produced.”The 2024 presidential frontrunner will likely appeal the ruling, which could cost him upward of $250 million in penalties that James is requesting — a hefty lift for the less-than-liquid Republican. Trump could potentially have to sell off his assets in order to pay the lofty legal fees, which could hurt his ego more than his pockets, a source familiar with the former president said.

The Art Of The Steal

So wrote Arthur Engoron, a New York State judge, in an unexpected ruling late yesterday that threatens the heart of Donald Trump’s business empire. Engoron was referring in particular to arguments offered by the former president’s attorneys in the case, but his words describe many of the details of the case—such as the valuations of Trump’s properties and even the square footage he claimed they contained, both of which the court found were “clearly” fraudulent. Much of the reputation Trump cultivated as a business mogul was built on lies. The surprise is not that Trump and his co-defendants, including his sons Donald Jr. and Eric, committed fraud. What is surprising is that he could finally be punished for it—and quite harshly. The scheme that New York Attorney General Letitia James alleged last year was simple. When Trump wanted to lower his taxes, he’d claim a low valuation for a property. When he wanted to get cheap loans, he would inflate the valuation. This allowed him to inflate his claimed net worth each year, which let him obtain loans on better terms by personally guaranteeing them. Evidence of this pattern had already turned up in reporting, especially by WNYC and ProPublica, and James’s case offered much more.

Over the years, this island (that now doubles as a U.S. military base) has been at the center of many high-profile conspiracy theories and is notorious for being shrouded in mystery. With only military personnel and island natives allowed to step foot on the island, and a level of secrecy higher than Guantanamo Bay, it’s no wonder that many have come to question what occurs inside Diego Garcia.

Trump Disqualification Conspiracy

A little-known provision of the U.S. Constitution is at the center of a growing debate about former President Donald Trump's eligibility for the 2024 election, with a number of Trump opponents claiming it should prevent him from appearing on ballots next year. The 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868, following the Civil War, and it is Section 3 essentially disqualifies from office anyone who engaged in "insurrection or rebellion" against the U.S. It was designed to prevent former Confederate leaders from serving in Congress and got the most use in the decade or so after the war, says James Gardner, a professor at the University at Buffalo School of Law who specializes in constitutional and election law.

Among them: that, whatever warts exist, he tells it like it is, and that he delivered on what he promised. The former is undermined by his well more than 30,000 falsehoods as president. The latter is undermined by his record.Back when Trump won the presidency, The Washington Post’s Jenna Johnson offered an indispensable look at just how much he had promised he would do as president — 282 items, to be exact. It was, to put it lightly, a lot. Perhaps in large part because of his lack of political expertise, and perhaps in larger part because of his showman persona and his willingness to just say, well, anything, his mouth wrote a lot of checks that his actions couldn’t cash (so to speak).

The Trump Indictment Conspiracy

Donald Trump has been indicted on charges of mishandling classified documents at his Florida estate, a remarkable development that makes him the first former president in U.S. history to face criminal charges by the federal government that he once oversaw. The Justice Department was expected to make public a seven-count indictment ahead of a historic court appearance next week in the midst of a 2024 presidential campaign punctuated by criminal prosecutions in multiple states. The indictment carries unmistakably grave legal consequences, including the possibility of prison if Trump's convicted. But it also has enormous political implications, potentially upending a Republican presidential primary that Trump had been dominating and testing anew the willingness of GOP voters and party leaders to stick with a now twice-indicted candidate who could face still more charges. And it sets the stage for a sensational trial centered on claims that a man once entrusted to safeguard the nation's most closely guarded secrets willfully, and illegally, hoarded sensitive national security information.
