Providing Client-Centered Care

In this episode, Tres discusses the importance of providing spiritually-integrated care and counseling that is client-centered. This doesn't mean that counselors of faith have to leave their convictions at the door, but keeping the focus on the client and learning about who they are spiritually can allow us to connect with them on a deeper level, and even inspire them to foster a closer relationship with God on their own. The Power of Friendship

What does it truly mean to be someone’s friend? Why is friendship important? How do I make more friends? These are some of the things we talk about in this episode of the podcast. It may seem elementary to talk about, it might be the kind of thing you hear in kindergarten, but friendship is so incredibly valuable both psychologically and spiritually. Having deep, quality relationships can mean the difference between being happy or being majorly depressed.
