Jay was especially active in the Specialized Carriers & Riggers Association, serving as Chairman and as a member of the Board of Directors. Jay was a sports enthusiast playing baseball and football in his adolescence. In adulthood, he fell in love with golf and enjoyed playing some of the most prestigious courses in the country.
