She currently works as a Private Practice Nutrition consultant providing Medical Nutrition Therapy for a variety of nutritionally related medical concerns. She recently formed Nutrition in Demand, a non-profit aimed at raising awareness of the importance of health and healthy eating. Through this organization, she hopes to provide education to the community through a variety of workshops and other activities. The main fundraising event for Nutrition in Demand is the Move-a-thon held every second weekend in January.
