Supplements are one of the most OVERrated things you can do for your health. We tend to associate taking vitamins with being healthy...but the truth is that popping a pill is, at best, a stopgap. A way to fill in the "nutritional cracks" in your diet. So I want start by sharing my philosophy on supplements, which is this... Bodyweight Exercises for Strength: A Complete Full-Body Workout You Can Do At Home === Bodyweight exercises have a lot going for them...but they have one BIG drawback: It's much more difficult to increase the difficulty as you get stronger. Take bench press vs push ups. If you want to make bench press more difficult, you just add more weight--simple, right? But if you want to make push-ups more difficult, how do you do THAT? Most people just add more reps. So if they did 30 push ups before, now they do 40. The problem with this is that doing 20, 30, 40+ reps of an exercise changes the focus. You're no longer training for strength. You're now training for endurance. And training for endurance is NOT the way to build bigger, stronger muscles. ====================== That's why I created this bodyweight workout routine. This full-body routine hits all your major muscles with 5 fundamental and brutally effective moves: * Squat * Pull Ups * Push Ups * Overhead Press * Leg Raises But what really sets this workout apart is the variations. Instead of just doing regular old air squats, I show you 5 variations on the move so you can make it more and more difficult over time--as you get stronger. Each move has 5-6 variations so you can progress from beginner all the way up to intermediate/advanced strength... All from the comfort of your own home.
