Germany’s infamous cycling podcast Besenwagen opens its doors for a worldwide audience. Since more than three years and many episodes Bastian Marks, Andreas Stauff and Paul Voß have been on tour in the little yellow ‚broom waggon’ and invited different people of the cycling scene and pro peloton to join their ride during weekly episodes. Once a month they will now fill up the tank for an international outing and pick up guests along their trip around the (cycling) world. In this episode Besenwagen picks up Annika Langvad. She is a five-time MTB World Champion and has won the Cape Epic a total of five times during her career. Racing in multiple disciplines, she racked up nineteen national championships. She had a shot in the Women's WorldTour in 2019, where she rocketed to podium finishes at Strade Bianche and Flèche Wallone plus a 4th place at the Amstel Gold Race. After retiring late 2020, she became a full-time dentist, a job she was studying for all while being one of the most successful athletes of the sport.
