The result is his first novel, “Alan Stoob Nazi Hunter,” a humorous debut that pokes fun at a sensitive subject that is rarely the subject of satire. Translate Me: Bridging the gap between Hebrew and Arabic Dr. Alon Fragman talks about a new initiative of his students at Ben Gurion University of the Negev to bridge the gap between everyday Arabic and Hebrew, including a 'Translate Me' Facebook group, which aims to make Arabic more accessible for Israeli learners. Curbing corruption in Israeli politics Yesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid has said he will present an aggressive package of legal reforms to fight corruption. Yesh Atid MK Dr. Ronen Hoffman tells TLV1 that since corruption is engrained in Israeli political culture, bold steps must be taken to get a handle on it. Women Wage Peace election push Women Wage Peace, a group formed after this summer's Gaza war, go out every Friday to different locations around Israel encouraging people to vote in the upcoming elections for whichever party they think will push for a peace deal to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
