Nvidia pushes for HTML of the Metaverse and Apple's headset has a name?

Meta announced that it will now let users post their NFTs across both Instagram and Facebook. To post an NFT on either Instagram or Facebook, users need to connect their wallet to the app. Some compatible wallets include Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet. Apple’s highly anticipated mixed reality headset has a name, according to a Bloomberg report earlier this week. The outlet spotted trademarks filed by Apple-affiliated firms for names like “Reality One,” “Reality Pro” and “Reality Processor” these were filed by a supposed shell corporation with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Nvidia pushes for a protocol called ‘Universal Scene Description’ to be the foundation for the Metaverse, the basis for interoperable content and experiences in the metaverse. The metaverse is a catchall for any multi-user application and currently, people using different applications cannot be connected. Nvidia wants USD to be the “HTML of the metaverse” so that people using different applications can still interact with each other. Meta Platforms Inc signed an agreement with Qualcomm Inc to produce custom chipsets for its Quest devices. Both companies will work together to produce the VR chips, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platforms, which highlights Meta’s dependency on Qualcomm’s chip technology.
