Episode 17: Accepting What Is

Could saying YES to everything, loving what is, be useful? Or is it just accepting what is and settling? I say it can be a superpower. I feel when you accept what is and love what is, you are believing in yourself big time. No matter what is presented to you, you have faith in your ability to handle it and even love it. I had spent so much of my life not accepting myself or the world. I kept trying to prove myself, fighting to break through, trying to change people…  No acceptance, not love for what is = struggle mentality I started exploring what if you didn't resist what is. What if you just accepted everything? That's pretty much what she's teaching, not just accepting everything but loving everything. There is nothing to fight against, not me and not the world.  Love everything is seeing everything as an opportunity. A magical journey. A learning experience. A new beginning. A new perspective.  All of those perspectives are super compelling for working in film.  There are so many moving parts, it’s going to help you be flexible and forward moving when you accept everything and love everything.
