About
When it comes to personal development we can always be improving who we are. My journey started by working backwards- I asked myself, If I could have my dream life, what would it look like? I used to get stuck in the day to day, now I know what my goals are so I can always keep my End in Mind. My name is Caitlin, I am 25 years old and I and the owner of Meraki Media Management. I started my business after I took an Instagram account from 18,000 followers to 500,000 followers in under a month. We could have never accomplished such a goal without The End in Mind. Throughout this podcast I will share tips, strategies and my experiences with listeners to take the mystery out of what it take to start a successful online business. Join us, because we know if you don't know where you're going, you might end up somewhere else. Online Business vs A Brick and Mortar Store with Heather Spadaro (The Owner of @themakeuphairco)

Join me this week for an interview with the Owner of the @themakeuphairco, Heather. Heather shares her story of shifting her business in 2020 to work better for her lifestyle, she also shares her inside scoop on how to create a skincare regime that supports your makeup routine. Since many of my clients are in the beauty industry, I love getting opinions of others when it comes to controversial topics. Such as, botox, fillers, caking on make up, etc.  @themakeuphairco, owner Heather shares her honest opinion all of these topics, in tomorrow episode. I find this is really important for Meraki to touch on as social media managers. We are constantly seeing clients comparing themselves, wanting to change their bodies or faces to fit in with the status quo - I don’t believe that aging is bad - therefore I believe everyone should embody their age, never needing to change how they look, in order to get better clients. Especially something that could have an impact on your body for YEARS to come.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Reiki, connection and nervous system regulation

After getting Reiki two certified, I felt a deeper connection with myself. And by adding this to my tool box it only elevated the connection I feel to others as well.  My coach, @aoifemindbody, mentioned Reiki to me a few years back, but I always felt like ugh, another certification. How could I add one more thing to my plate? She said to let it happen naturally and when it doesn't feel like work, that will be the right time.  And she was so right. I met Mal through a client of mine, @tuthilllisa. Lisa mentioned she was getting Reiki certified and thought that I would enjoy connecting with Mal as well.  Mal and I hit it off; we decided it was the perfect time for me to start and the way we were working together felt more aligned than ever. It was perfect alignment and I had the capacity to go through the training. I was so excited.  I remember knowing that this was what it felt like to not push something into happening: waiting, having, practicing receiving and allowing what I had been asking for to find me naturally. I am so grateful. I can’t wait to share more about Reiki with you all in 2024!  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

What if we reframed the way we looked at Marketing in 2024?

Once I realized in college that marketing didn’t have to come from a nasty place. That marketing could actually be changing, the way people purchase is changing so wouldn't the marketing?   In college we took persuasion classes, learned about Cult marketing, how people think, why they are primed to purchase or fall into something vs. another. It was very interesting, but I always wondered how social media would impact this type of marketing.  Don’t get me wrong, there are still many marketers that use social media in a way I am not aligned with.  But I do believe that there is a way to market yourself without feeling nasty or out of alignment while you do so - even more, your business will depend on making that shift, or it wont survive in today society.  Marketing to me is about sharing my knowledge with others so they can discern if we think similarly or not, and if they would like to opt into our content conversations, services etc. Its not about pushing, persuading, or manipulating. Its about sharing, connecting, and creating for one another.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

What is the consumer looking for in 2024?

This year people are really wanting to purchase from a place of knowing that their investment is going to pay off. The purchaser is looking for, authenticity, real answers, results driven content, reasonable expectations, etc.  What we have seen over the past few years especially in the coaching industry is that so many people have been burned, by the wrong coach, over promising and failing on delivery. This has had a huge impact on the industry and honestly the client, rightfully so isnt wanting to fall into another trap, speaking from experience here.  So how do you want to show up online to build actual trust? So many of us fear sharing our opinions online because we feel like people wont agree, or there will be backlash. Or is it because we aren’t sure of our own beliefs yet? How are you story telling in 2024?

Happy New Year!! Today I am using this journal prompt instead of constantly looking into the future on a day like today - I am taking time to reflect on how far I have come this year instead.  What have I accomplished this year that I did not expect? What was fun in 2023? How can I create more fun and love in my life and business? What was my word for 2023? Did I embody it? What were my wins for 2023? What did I do that I thought was never going to be possible?  As we hold space this season for our New Year planning, I believe it is also important to look at what you have already done. Because that truly keeps us driven to creating, developing, growing more into 2024, right? What are your favorite ways to bring in the New Year?  Learn more about your ad choices. I am going into 2024 bursting with so much love, I am so lucky to have each of you and this life that I live. Thank you all so much for believing in me and joining me on this journey! Marketing and Pinterest with Cecilia Amato

What is your favorite social media platform?  Pinterest, Linkedin, Instagram (maybe because you’re here lol), Youtube, Facebook?  I always say, start working with the platform you like the most! Use your experience to help you forecast what is coming from that application and apply your knowledge to it. In time you can crosspost to other platforms, and maybe hire someone to support you! But first, start with what you like because it's highly likely if you start with yourself, then naturally you will draw in the clients you desire to work with.  Learn more about your ad choices. More isnt always better

Social media can feel really loud this time of year. I have found myself needing more time away from social media, just because this noise can at times really drain me.  So what do we do when it's our busy season and we feel like we “have” to show up, but just don't have the capacity? When building your business it's important to check in with yourself and take breaks, even as a social media manager, from the loudness of the online space. If we don’t work on who we are, how will we be able to impact our clients in a beneficial way?  Some people combat this by wanting to create products vs having a service based business. But truthfully even as a product business owner your energy directly impacts your success. And I have found that if I am not listening to what my body needs, my business will also have a step back because maybe I push too hard and then I get sick.  Think about it like this -  if you are not able to take a break now, when would you be able to? If you have told yourself that hustling to the top is the only way to make it, when does the hustle end? And if it does end, what will you do with your time after?  Many people don’t realize that success is not linear, and if we don't find security in trusting ourselves now as business owners, we will have a very difficult time building something sustainable.  What do you think? The Art of Therapy with Jade

This week we are chatting with Jade @yourpiece.art! Jade is an art therapist - she focuses on emotional healing, somatics, & nervous system rewiring. She works with the deep feelers, creatives and - in our case - Highly Sensitives as well!  When you think about art therapy, would you also connect this with nervous system rewiring? This is a topic I have become infatuated with recently. Understanding what helps our nervous system regulate can be the shift that most people, especially business owners, may be missing in their lives.  Jade shares with us on her page that trauma can hold us back from being our authentic selves. Because in the past maybe we weren't accepted, or people didn’t understand us, then when we think about marketing ourselves online the fear of this pattern occurring again can feel unbearable.  Do you experience fear or worry when thinking about showing up online? Intuition and Content Marketing

You don’t have to post something just because you just thought of it - now if you feel called to, follow your gut, but if you are skeptical about constantly posting from your intuition, maybe because you’re unable to get consistency - listen up!  When you get an intuitive download, what if you hung on to it? Just for a little while, let yourself immerse in the thought. When I have done this my mind is able to expand on the topic - leaving me with better examples, or more in depth stories where I have seen this topic applied to my life. Giving the intuitive thought time to grow, allowed my intuition to skyrocket my business.  There is this sense of watering the intuitive thought over time - sitting with it, letting it naturally grow - so by the time I was ready to put that thought into motion, I had seen the puzzle pieces align, and now the topic becomes much more powerful than me just throwing a post together and hoping for the best.  So tell me, do you plan your marketing intuitively? Does this idea of sitting with the thought worry you? If so, why?  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Using Intuition in Your Business with Cassandra

Have you ever wondered how to use your intuition when it comes to designing your business?  This week we’re chatting with @wild_dreams_co owner Cass! Cass is an intuitive designer, she helps her clients unleash their iconic frequency & elevate their brand universe, offers intuitive, innovative, intentional coaching; and helps strategize and design websites.  What I loved about Cass the first time I met her was how heavily she relies on her intuition to guide her business, much like myself, which isn't something I see a lot in our space. Especially when it comes to marketing - more to come on that later this week.  So to jump start our conversation - do you use your intuition in your business? If so, how? Miranda Priestly of it all: Urgency a product of success?

Once I started to move out of urgency I was able to move into the way I actually wanted to be showing up in the world. Prior I was jumping from task to task, pushing, rushing, squeezing in as much as I possibly could - which left me burnt out, hurt and irritable.  The best example I can think of for this is Miranda Priestly. BTW this is like my favorite movie of all time so please don't come for me LOL, but Miranda is the perfect example of how urgency can have an inverted affect on people. Yes she's a powerhouse, totally her level of success was derived out of who she was - but was the urgency truly serving her highest good? I'm skeptical.  At one point she talks with Andy about how she is getting divorced once again, starting from scratch, not able to be present with her kids, and constantly running from one meeting to the next. Was this what I thought success was? Of course! I spent most of my life putting these types of people on pedestals, thinking that was the only way I would be successful.  Looking back on when I first started my business I embodied these thoughts - they ended up manifesting into my reality and I was left exhausted, not present and detached from my body, my business and my family. It wasn't going to work long term, and I knew it. So what was my other option? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Using routine and workouts with Stacia Root

To build routine you have to start with being brutally honest with yourself, with week we’re speaking with @stacia.root a group fitness instructor, we dive into routines, why aren’t we able to find time to take care of ourselves?  Stacia shares with us, her journey began by looking at her own habits. Was she keeping a promise to herself when she planning her day the day prior was she following through on those promises?  Do you ever plan to do something, maybe its in your personal or business life and not follow through? For me this tends to be working out, until I started making the time to actually prioritize this connection with myself, I felt like there literally weren’t enough hours in the day to work - let alone work out?  I am so curious, what about you all? This week we are talking about bookkeeping…. That's right, not sexy, but important.  I must share - I am the kind of girl that blocks off 2-3 days in April to go over my numbers, mark every penny spent and share that with my accountant all in a mad dash before just making the deadline by the skin of my teeth. Looking Inward with Dr. Debbie

Sometimes you just need a couch day. This week on The End in Mind, we are featuring one of my favorite episodes yet with @debmagick. Deb is an intuitive business owner - she empowers good souls to do great things as you stand against the dark. Her business is so intriguing to me, and in this episode she doesn't hold back.  One of my favorite parts is where Deb gives us permission to have days that we need to look inward. Take a step back from the hustle and bustle and actually listen to our bodies instead of constantly pushing, rushing, shoving ourselves into some distorted version that society “expects us to.”  This was a large reason why I wanted to start my own business as well, because, guess what… I love a nap, I love taking time to build flower arrangements between my calls, spend time with my puppy, grab lunch with my mom and my aunt. You name it, I wanted freedom to live that life that I desired - without being told what to do.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Networking in Person vs. Online with Sarah Gemmell

Sarah says in today’s episode, networking online Vs in person isn't very different - however when you look at how long it may take you to develop a relationship over zoom or in person, naturally in person accelerates the relationships much faster.  In my own experience, some of the connections I made face to face in the first few years of my business have significantly impacted the growth of my company. I find that just like social media, meeting new people in person is a great way to expand your network, but also encourage longer term relationships. After meeting someone in person, follow them on instagram, that way each time they watch your story, see your content, its a peak inside of your life. Let's talk about mental health with Lesley and Jennifer

Has anyone seen this new interview of Reality Reckoning with @bethennyfrankel and @raquelleviss ?  If you know me, I am and have always been a reality TV lover - I find it easy to watch and super entertaining. This year most people discovered the show VanderPump Rules because of how intense this year's scandal impacted pop culture. In the past I never had actually stepped back and thought about how these stars have been impacted by the media. I honestly always thought the show was small enough that only Bravo fans followed the show anyhow - so why would most people care?  This year everything changed, or maybe I changed. I started to feel badly for the cast members, seeing their changes in their mindset, witnessing intense conversations flow between humans interacting.  It wasn't so much that the hate wasn't justified, I honestly started to see that people are normalizing this type of hate. We as humans have to stop normalizing this culture. That's how I feel anyway.  After listening to this interview I thought, “Should I stop watching?” This week I am sharing a conversation with a few of my favorite ladies @peaceandwellnesstherapy who have a mental health practice. We’re chatting about all things relevant to mental health, and you for sure don't want to miss this. I just have to know - are you all continuing this reality TV train? Are you taking time away? Are your money stories like fish stories? with Dr. Joe

Dr. Joe says in this week's episode the longer we dismiss our money stories, the longer we allow the stories to grow - just like fish stories.  The moment that we realize we have a story, a narrative around something, a belief, this could be directly affecting your income. Who would have thought that healing yourself would lead you towards more money? Most people think, “Push through, grind it out, find the sale and complete it.” But what if we did all of that - we tried pushing, we tried chasing, honestly, maybe we even tried not chasing, but the money and income still aren’t at the level we want?  It's time to dive into your stories. Dr. Joe shares in this week's episode how an incident when he was young - much like an incident that any little kid would face, like having an accident in daycare - impacted the way he thought about himself, which was directly related to the amount of income he was making. It was actually stopping him from going for it, and - even worse - it was affecting him subconsciously, so he wasn't even aware of the impact that his fish story had.  So what do we do? We know this healing journey takes time, but scarcity is creeping in. The more we hear about the economy on TV, the more we push, grind, TRY to make it work, it's not clicking. What is inflaming and draining your business?

My experience went like this - I knew I was having high blood pressure when I first started my business because of my fear around what I was doing. I would experience extremes when it came to stress - I would be paralyzed by it, and it would even impact how I was creating content, missing things, and losing concentration.  But I kept ignoring it. I figured, “Once I have money I will be able to deal with it. Once I have money, I'll have all of the time in the world.” But then I got a diagnosis, and I was even more scared. Now I was fearing death. What if I wasn't around to see the money? What if I never made it to the successful moment to enjoy when I literally killed myself in order to achieve?  That's when I realized I have been doing all of this backwards. I can’t create a business without addressing this stress, anxiety, and the fears that I ignored for the majority of my life because these habits were what was keeping me from actually getting what I wanted. What if I never could achieve what I actually wanted without addressing these first?  I thought that's it! So what did I do…. I stopped chasing, and I started listening. Once I listened I implemented, I watched, I felt, I cried…a lot. And then I felt better, I felt clearer, and I could start doing my job better. Which people saw. I didn't have to even say it, I just had to show up, and there it was. The energy of being me was enough. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Meeting the Market Where it is

When you think about marketing, try to think about having a conversation with your client or potential client one-on-one. When you think back to where your clients are, they may be 3, 4, or 5 steps behind you when it comes to your expertise. This is the biggest challenge my clients face when it comes to relating to their clients - we have to remember the journey and what it took to get us where we are today. We have to remember to meet our market where it is - when we don't, the marketing is information overload, your potential clients will become overwhelmed, and - worse - you might as well. The simple lessons can be shared through your marketing, and what is offered through your service will be your knowledge - the big needle movers. Learn more about your ad choices. Digestible Content:

Have you ever been on a webinar and thought to yourself - woah, I am way lost, or I am super behind when it comes to this type of skill?  When I first started coaching and course creation back in 2019 I realized that inorder to create content that actually moves the needle for my clients I had to learn where they were starting. I had to slow down, and explain things in an easy digestible manner or I would lose them. I found myself jumping around or sharing pieces of advice that were too far along for someone that was just getting used to posting on Instagram. When we become experts in our space we at times we can alienate ourselves by over sharing. Which does not help our marketing at all. So this week we’re diving into discussions around how to know where your target audience's knowledge level begins. And guess what - like most of our weekly content, we have the same overarching solution - the answers lie within.  First things first - we have to decide who we want to work with. Are we into working with people just entering into your area of knowledge, or have your clients dabbled in work like this before but needs to gain more in depth knowledge? Does your client already have support with what knowledge you're able to provide, but you help them curate and automate within your industry specialty? The Spiral of Workaholism is REAL. Let me tell you, I used to think the more I work, the more I stay busy, the more I will be able to get where I want to go.  What I realized was the complete opposite. But here's the deal, it's hard to remember this! Especially as a perfectionist, we really truly believe that we are the only ones that know how to handle these tasks.  For example I was getting ready to get on the plane a few weeks ago for my trip and disaster struck LOL. It’s social media, but it still felt like a complete nightmare to be dealing with - dramatic of me, but true! My client's account had been inundated with spam accounts, and we had to remove them in order to save her insights and all of the hard work we had put into it. Urgency was crippling me, I started to feel tears in my eyes. Then the thoughts began - of course this is happening when I am going away, can I just have one vacation? “What the hell,” I thought.  This was the moment where I knew I had to ground myself. I asked for help. This was huge. Any other time something like this has happened I handled it because I thought that I would get it done faster by myself. But why? Is that even logical? Not really. Jayme, my lovely business manager, helped me. She assured me all is good, it’s all okay, they can handle this.  Do you all struggle with this as well? Eliminating Shame and Guilt with Claire Campagna

This week we are highlighting one of my favorite humans, @claire.campagna!  Claire has one of the best stories when it comes to moving from corporate to entrepreneurship. She calls the start of her journey her “quarter life crisis”. She knew for a while that her time had passed at her corporate job; it was giving her financial positions, she was top in sales, etc., but it wasn't filling her up.  She talks about how many people stay in these positions and lifestyle because they are doing well, considered by the standards of others. But really, internally she knew that this job was taking more than it was giving to her. The job was a larger piece for her, because she was spending so much time there.  She felt guilty walking away, thinking so many people would kill for her position - this is what she went to school for, isn't this exactly what she wanted? But it wasn't.  And that is OKAY.  Guilt is one of the biggest struggles I have also had on this journey. So this week, if you’ve been feeling anytype of guilt - not to worry, we’ve all been there and we're breaking it down in this week's episode. Learn more about your ad choices. Copy by Steph

Steph is a specialist in Marketing, content, social media, all of the things we love here at Meraki!  Steph started out as a teacher which I know so many of you all also come from that industry, she is passionate about helping her clients get out of the spiral of posting constantly and never getting any traction.  This week we break down how to maintain a health mindset even as Instagram shifts and evolves in itself, it can be a lot. I find a lot of my clients end up just giving up because the overwhelm is so real.  But here's the deal which Steph explains so well in today's episode, Copy is at the center of everything that we do! And if we can’t touch base or speak to our clients, that is the gap that needs to be filled in order for entrepreneurs to really make it big in an online business, and even a brick and mortar business as well!  Learn more about your ad choices. My Mentor Ryan Walter

This week we are featuring my mentor Ryan Walter! Ryan is a mentor of mine, he and I met at a local networking event when I was at the start of my business journey. Ryan has a beautiful background in Corporate America, and he used his knowledge to start his own consulting agency. He started a podcast Accelerate to Achieve where he interviews business owners, CEOs, larger corporation participants and asks for their insight behind creating a productive business!  Ryan and I were actually chatting on this week's episode about passion. Why is passion so important when it comes to developing a business? He talks about how entrepreneurs normally don't have the normal job type where we can walk away from our jobs. Our jobs really become a large part of our lives and it's important to find balance between the two, but it’s also important to bring in an outside perspective for that reason.  Learn more about your ad choices. Building a brand means building you

Building a brand is about building you. Most people get into business because they want to be free. At least that was a large reason why I started Meraki. But the catch was that I never knew how to be free, or what freedom of time actually looked like. Were programmed as small children with routine, wake up, eat breakfast, get on the bus etc…. The funny thing is that even at a young age I resisted this routine. I would rather have spent the day with my grandmom, driving around in her convertible talking about life then going to class and learning about geometry.  I didn't realize it until the other day I was listening to the @lewishowes podcast and the guest started talking about how he viewed the world as a child. He realized that he never thought that things like science, or pieces of our lives should be separated in different buckets. What does that mean? Well when you go to school you have a different class from art, math, music, language arts, science etc. But his point of view was that all of these different categories affect one another - so how is it actually possible to study them as separate entities?  I realized that this is almost identical to how I felt as a kid. I never did well in school because I so clearly saw the connection between these different classes - but no one was teaching it like that. I saw that my whole life was connected from school to home, it was all one, so why wasn't our school day structured with more balance? Honoring home and school with the same amount of time?  I am no longer resisting this in myself. Instead I have designed a business that assists my life, I have developed a balance of my own, I have found a way to run an agency while also coaching my beautiful clients, because I finally realized that once I stopped separating each part of my life with a different identity and leaning into holistically who I am as all of those identities, life becomes much less hard, it starts to flow with ease. And ease, is exactly what I am looking for. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Joy and Rejuvenation with Tawnja

I am so excited to share with you all one of the most powerful stories we have ever had on The End in Mind this week. @tawnjacleveland is so open in this week's episode, she shares about her experience after she had a stroke that impacted her significantly. What I love about Tawnja is the way she talks about her life - she is so inspiring and all of the tools she uses in her work today stems directly from this unfortunate experience she had in her life. Huge thank you to @tawnjacleveland for sharing her story and trusting that here at Meraki, we are all ready to support one another, and help each other grow, which is exactly the theme of this week's podcast episode! Estee - Hopeful Romantic Entrepreneurs

This week we are featuring one of my dear friends @lifewithesteek! Estee shares with us in this week's episode what it's like to be an entrepreneur, balancing relationships, life and the rollercoaster of running a business. This week's episode is titled “Hopeful Romantic Entrepreneurs.” It can feel almost impossible when you’re trying to balance it all, but one of the things Estee stressed in this week's episode was to not settle - the concept behind, “Why can’t we have it all?” This is a topic that is floating around a lot in our space right now. The key to having it all, she says, is paving your own way. Not falling into the trap of thinking there is some secret that other entrepreneurs have that we don’t - just trusting ourselves and going for it.  Learn more about your ad choices. When to know you need to throw out the rule book

One thing I love about the intuitive work we do with our one-on-one clients is the fact that we don't put beliefs on them. Here’s the deal - in today’s world of online business, everyone is selling the hacks, the quick wins, ways to develop your easiest and quickest way to making the money you’ve always desired.  But what if money wasn’t what we all truly desired in the first place? What if money is just the easiest way for us to communicate abundance in today’s world, and that very form of marketing has manipulated us all into thinking that we actually want money more than what we actually want deep down? Money is the easiest buzz word to use in today's marketing to get people to buy. The more the economy shifts, the more you will see people selling using money as a tactic. I even recently fell into a trap, thinking that once I hire someone they will solve all of my business problems and make me more money. However, what I walked away with was more problems, more stress, and the faint memory that nothing was even wrong with my business to begin with.  My goal is to normalize having these conversations amongst one another as coaches, colleagues, professional women. We need to remind ourselves that making a quick buck, or finding the fast track to money, isn't actually going to shift our mindset and uplevel our lives. Instead it is the complete opposite - we need to slow down. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Space in Between Thoughts

The space between thoughts… This was the first piece of advice that I learned from my therapist. A classic overthinker, I was and times can still be. She recommended that I slow down.  I used to think if I slow down I’ll loose everything. On some level that was true - I had to slow down to shed the old me, to sharpen my skills and fully develop who this new person was without all of the chaos in my brain. I shed old ways of thinking, parts of my business, parts of me that I no longer needed where I am headed. And developed a trust that I lean on everyday with myself. Commitment, Curious and Celebrate with Dr. Katy

Dr Katy helps her clients bridge the gap between business and spirituality. What I loved about this weeks conversation with Dr Katy @revdrkaty is that she explains that spirituality and business do not have to be two separate parts of who we are.  What she explains is actually the complete opposite. If we start to build a business based off of the same foundations of our spirituality we are likely to have much more aligned outcomes when it comes to business. Dr Katy explains that after working in the spiritual business for years shes able to see the commonalities that many of us face when briding between these two. Entrepenurial Anxiety and the Most powerful electrical system in the world

Have you ever wondered how to get off the rollercoaster of emotions as an Entrepreneur?  I remember when I got into this industry I would compare my old life and job, to what I was experiencing as an entrepreneur almost like I had to choose a less evil - either be on the rollercoaster of emotions as a business owner OR go back to hating my life driving to a cubicle everyday.  And I truthfully thought that this was life. This is what it was going to be - I would be miserable somewhere so I would rather be miserable betting on myself than someone else.  It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I dove deep on this thought - I started to ask myself, where is this coming from? Why do I feel SUCH an intense amount of anxiety at this point. Do I believe in what I can do for businesses - yes, do I know I have helped so many people - yes. But every time I would get one piece of negative feedback, thats what would stick in my brain. Like a loop, and that loop eventually snowballed into being so intense that I thought I have no other choice then to walk away from my social media management business. Something that I did not take lightly, but I thought would fix this emotional state I was in.   Then I went deeper - what is the feeling? What is this covered up by? What does it steam from?  It was a client situation that after explaining to my coach, and talking through my HSP emotions, I realized was pretty intense. But because society, people, the world tells us a HSPs, “just get over it, it shouldn't affect you, move on, why do what those people say bother you?” I was starting to question how I was feeling. Sending me into this loop of I have to get out - there is no other choice.  But my friend, there is always another choice, there is always an abundance amount of options. But again because we are dealing with uncovered emotions, it taints our knowledge of options leaving us feeling hopeless and on a never ending journey of searching.  Learn more about your ad choices. Using Hope to Shed the Scacity Skin

Last week I was at my lovely cousin's Wedding shower. I met with someone that I knew since I was very young and we happened to sit at each other's table. It was so great to spend time catching up with her.  She mentioned that she's looking to launch a new (amazing) business that she has been thinking about for awhile. I immediately got excited for her and of course we started talking about social media and what hangs us up the most when it comes to marketing ourselves.  A lot of what we talked about was… what will people say? Or think? - once we move past that, do we really care what anyone thinks? Not really LOL … then we moved on to, well what if it doesn't work? And we’ve wasted all of this energy?  She asked me what I ask myself when I come up to this thought. And boy are the “what if this doesn't work out in my favor thoughts” should be paying me rent at this rate for living in my brain LOL.  I wrote down this question for her which I actually recently got from my new developer mindset coaches - “But what if it does workout?” I have started to ask myself…. Your Job isn't Distraction with Charmaine

This week we’re chatting with @charmaineplaton! Charmaine is a Sugar Cravings Coach. What I loved the most about this week's talk is the fact that we touched upon intuitive connections to our bodies when it comes to emotions we’re feeling. Charmaine is so knowledgeable when it comes to this topic, because she has experienced craving before herself (I know I have too, who has not right?!). She explains what these cravings mean and how they’re actually signs that our bodies are trying to alert us with! And guess what, most of the time our bodies aren't trying to alert us that we actually need sugar. The reason why I knew Charmaine would be a perfect fit for The End in Mind is because she focuses on topics that so many of us as entrepreneurs run away from! When we start a business most of us get in for two reasons - money and freedom. But what we don't think about is how much behind the scenes we face different challenges when it comes to building a successful business.  I know that my experience with building a business brought up a lot of things that I had never really noticed before. And eating habits can absolutely be one of those habits, and I know a lot of us might struggle with this while not being entrepreneurs either. Learn more about your ad choices. 100 Episodes! Let's Celebrate!

Celebrating used to look a lot different for me than it does now. As I have begun my healing journey, celebrating became more of a ritual for me. When I was working in my 9-5 celebrating would mean it was friday and the weekend was around the corner, so I would *finally* have time to do things that I actually wanted to be doing.  Once I started my business because of the ambiguity of my schedule I found myself cutting our celebrations all together, because all that mattered at that moment was being successful and making money. Which I felt as though I had not achieved yet, so therefore what would I be celebrating?  The funny thing about all of this is that when I was a little girl I wanted to celebrate all of the time! I remember thinking about how lucky I was to have a home, air to breathe, that I was able to go to school and meet my friends everyday etc.  But that daily routine of celebrating ended as I was growing older. I had become consumed with being successful, making money, staying fit, having it all “together” so obviously celebrating was the last thing on the list. When I did have time to celebrate I honestly wasn't able to really feel the celebration because I wasn't present.  This week is our 100th Episode of The End in Mind!!!!!! WOW. Now this calls for a real celebration!!! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Labels, Guilt, and Ancesteral Linage

I used to think that healing was a chore. Something that took so much work that I found myself constantly wanting to push it off, or focus on building my business instead, because I used to think that having more money would bring me more peace.  Once I got into business for myself and I actually started making a good amount of income, which took a few years, I still found myself unsatisfied. I actually remember thinking that I didn’t even get to enjoy my success because my business has become so taxing and needed so much of my attention I wasn't able to even celebrate what I had created.  I had started pursuing a life that I thought that everyone wanted, but I quickly realized that even if I had all of the money, all of the opportunities, I still wouldn't be happy with what I built until I was happy with myself or my experiences.  Which led me to think about my family, had they felt the same way once they reached a level of success? Was there still an empty feeling within them that they were unable to fill?  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Awakened Professional

@theawakenedprofessional Nicole and I had a wonderful conversation on this weeks podcast Epsiode. Nicole shares what it was like when she first started to wake up to her gifts. She mentions being frightened at first, by strange things starting to occur around her house. Whether it was banging, floating objects, or just a feeling that she wasnt used to experiencing.  What I loved about Nicole's description of her experience the most was that is aligns so closely with the ideology behind the @interstellarmovie. Have you all checked that out?  @officiallymcconaughey stars out by embarking on a journey to save earth, If you havent seen the movie yet, you may want to stop reading here LOL. What happens while he is traveling across space time, is quiet miraculous, every encounter he experiences with another being, life force, whatever they are describing it as at the time. Actually ends up being him. He talks about his experience in a way that explains that humans designed a place, where we can interact with all areas of time. Consciously and unconsciously.  Nicole also shares this when she realized that the spirits or signs shes seeing, is actually herself. Not a ghost, not someone else guiding her, its her. Sherri and Jessie of StarrCox on Debunking 7 Myths

In today's episode with Sherri and Jessie the creators and owners of the @starrcox.community we talk about one of my favorite topics - asking for help as a Soloprenur.  Sherri Starr and Jessie Cox are a dynamic business coaching duo who have reinvented the way online coaches receive support by providing do-it-with-you services to bypass the typical long, lonely struggle of business-building. They both ran their own businesses as solopreneurs before realizing the power of support and the impact they could provide to others if they teamed-up together. Sherry is a spirited powerhouse coach who will always tell you the truth (with a sweet delivery). Jessie is an upbeat dynamo who is always overflowing with dynamic ideas and resourcefulness. Together they have formed StarrCox -- a powerful team and community that can help online coaches and consultants reach their visions and create the life they want. As a recovering perfectionist (which I know most of you are as well) asking for help can still be a challenge for me. I remember when I was first hiring for Meraki and instead of asking my team members to do a piece of the work for me, I clung to every piece of what we were doing for our clients, telling myself that “I was the only person” that could complete that project.  Where did that leave me? Tired, anxious and with zero energy to actually show up as my best self. Which is pretty important when you’re working with clients right?  Well this Myth Sherri and Jessi blew out of the water - they said, if we don't realize now that we can’t do it all how will we be able to create a business that continues to expand?  Learn more about your ad choices. Your Masculine Energy is not Scarcity

One thing I have been hearing everywhere recently is the confusion between masculine energy and scarcity. So let's break this down… Masculine energy is not a bad thing! It's actually a beautiful thing, and is a necessity for building any type of balance into our businesses and our lives.  Think about it like this, if we only stayed in our Feminine, what would we get done? We would probably spend our entire days in the bathroom using our @MYSKINBUDDY and moisturizing our faces right?! *or maybe that's just me LOL  The beautiful thing about life is its gray area, right? You have heard me say this before. Well as most of us know gray is made from the combination of dark and light colors right? Meaning that life is a bit of good and a bit of bad right? Yin and yang - well the same thing is to be said for our energy! We need both masculine and feminine to be productive and move towards that life we desire, without action how are we going to attract our audience right?  Learn more about your ad choices. "The Opposite of Should is Desire" with Leah Pardee

Leah Pardee is a Manifestation Teacher, Breathwork Guide and Business Coach. She hosts the Bare Naked Soul Podcast and is the author of her memoir Confessions of an Uncaged Soul. She teaches you how to move through fear so you can manifest your dreamiest, juiciest, most fully expressed life.   After reading Leah's (@itsleahpardee) Book Confessions of an Uncaged Soul I knew she would be a great fit for our podcast, The End in Mind. In Leah's book, she shares her real life experience of healing; she talks about her beliefs and what held her back most when it came to starting to live life as her true self. Things that I so directly related to. One of my favorites that stuck with me was when Leah shared her thought process around her friends and what their gifts were. She talks about how each person in her friend group had a thing: one was into art, one was into music, another loves cooking etc. This held Leah back when it came to her belief around what she could do until she opened up her mindset. She writes that she realized that just because her friends were good at writing, why couldn't she also be? Eventually she even published the book I read. This really got me thinking - what if we continued to stay with these beliefs that basically hinder our ability to share our information or story with the world? Wouldn’t we actually be causing more harm than good? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
