The Mastery of Identity

Recently, I had a conversation with a friend who shared that although we're only a few weeks into 2024, he was having difficulty tapping into his goals. It dawned on me that when we start setting new goals without renewing our identity - we can find ourselves slipping back into old habits. Until we hone in on the type of person we need to become to reach new heights, we'll continually find ourselves sabotaging the dreams of our future selves.    This week, I will be talking about The Mastery of Identity. You are more than you know. There is power in your mouth and your mind to launch you into all God has CALLED you to be. Every morning, I have disciplined myself to recite a 12-point identity statement that reminds me of who I am and the vision of my life. Today, my challenge to you is to create an identity statement, and I'll give you specific details about what your statement should include.    Family, I want to encourage you to send me your statement, and I'll read it on an upcoming episode to stand in agreement with you. Purpose, Pivots, & Precision

Called Family! Let me start by saying I have missed you all tremendously. I was hoping to be back with you sooner, but in May I found myself hitting a wall and needed to take more time off than I anticipated. But I’m back to share some updates with you about where I’ve been, what’s been going on, and what I’ve learned along the way. This week, I’ll be talking about the importance of purpose, pivots, and precision. We’re all limited resources, but when these three things work together, we’re able to get the most out of who we are called to be. I’ll touch on how disruption often keeps us from destruction and share the importance of maintaining flexibility in all areas of our lives.  Family, this will be the last episode of The Called Podcast for 2023, but I’ll be back at the top of 2024 and I’m looking forward to what we’ll continue to build. Don’t forget to share, rate, and review today. Reach out and let me know what topics you’d like to hear more about in the new year. And remember, you’re not random - you’re CALLED! The 3 Levels of Success Pt. 2

Last week, we talked about the necessary tools that help us to attain the things we are CALLED to. If you missed pt. 1 of this conversation, stop what you’re doing now and go back to listen to it. This week, we’ll be building upon our discussion and focusing on how we retain our success after we have attained it.  Retaining success necessitates a commitment to learning and an unwavering dedication to growth. It requires humility, teachability, and a willingness to extend yourself beyond where you are. Next week we’ll wrap up this series and touch on how we build something that remains after we have mastered the art of attaining and retaining.  Family, this is our 21st episode of The Called Podcast! As we wrap up this series next week, I wanted to let you know that I will be taking a summer break to brainstorm some exciting ideas and potential guests for Season 2. Be sure to connect with me and share your suggestions for who you would like to hear from and what topics you would like us to cover. Don’t forget to share, rate, and review today. Building Through Uncertain Times

We’ve all encountered seasons where our stability was threatened by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. With inflation on the rise, significant shifts in our economy, and rumors of a looming recession - it’s easy to feel uncertain about the times we’re currently living in. But instead of succumbing to fear and doubt, we must educate ourselves about what’s ahead so we can be prepared to build through a season that would otherwise try to break us down.  Last Month, during the Called to Mastery Leadership Intensive, I sat down with my friend Jaylen Bledsoe, CEO of Bledsoe Collective and Managing Director of Flare Partners. Together, we shared insight and perspective about what building looks like in this season and gave practical tips on how we can maintain our peace and even increase our wealth in these tumultuous times. This is a timely conversation that I believe will help you continue to thrive in your area of business and leadership.  Family, I am committed to helping you become all that you are CALLED to be. I’m going to continue giving you knowledge and wisdom so that you can win in life. In fact, I want you to mark your calendars because on April 22nd at 9am PST, I’m going to be having a conversation with the founder of Precision Planning Financial Group, Barry Queen II, WMCP as we talk about “Gaining A Financial Edge In Uncertain Times”. But what many of us don’t realize is that the giant of procrastination is much more than a bad habit. There is a greater you on the other side of procrastination, and you owe it to yourself to become all that you are CALLED to be.
