During the period of my life when I had a stammer I was very much a loner. If, for example, I had a choice of whether to go to a social event, I would usually choose not to, due to the fear of stammering. I missed out on so much, and this made me even more eager to find a solution, to help me to overcome the stammer. I had become a loner; a person that other people no doubt thought of as rather weird. At the age of 16 I had what I class as the magical turning point, a point that led me to really believe that I would be able to overcome the stammer. I am often asked whether I would stutter or stammer when ordering drinks in a bar and food in a restaurant. Stammering problems and issues WERE common for me when attempting to order food and drinks in restaurants and bars. Is speech therapy beneficial for stammering or stuttering? Why does my stammer become more severe when talking to sexy women? In fact the sexier they are, the more severe it becomes.
