How can you have a career and a life you love, in a world which still isn't set up for you to do either of those things with ease? This is the question investment banker, mother and prolific side-hustler, Rebecca Anderton-Davies sets out to answer in this paradigm-shifting book. These dials reflect where you are now, and what you need to prioritise, in alignment with your ambitions, values and goals.Rebecca Anderton-Davies is an investment banker, yoga practitioner and sometimes teacher, author, community builder, wife, and mother of two young sons, based in London. 15+ years into a successful career as a banker, first as a currency sales-trader and now as a relationship manager, she is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. While building her successful corporate career, she fell into yoga (literally getting hit by a truck and turning to it to heal), she has built two Instagram communities with a follower count of nearly 300k: her personal account where she shares her unique combination of yoga, career and family life, and her yoga community account. The Founders of Freetrain
Freetrain is the brainchild of two former professional athletes who met playing football in 2011.Forever searching to improve the enjoyment of their workouts, and with an eye on a future away from football, they looked to create something to help adapt working out to a rapidly evolving modern world. At the end of 2018, they settled on the idea of finding the best possible solution to carrying your phone whilst you worked out and called their company Freetrain. In the beginning, they cut designs out of old T-shirts and got our grandparents to stitch the first basic prototypes. There were lots of after school football sessions and part time jobs necessary to help fund the development and manufacture of our products, but they carried on with a single creative purpose: to give people more freedom while they train... Finally, in the summer of 2019, the Freetrain V1 vest was born, and runners, cyclists and casual gym goers all over the world began to share their vision... Hosted on Acast.
