About
This podcast is to affirm and give permission to my African sisters who like me, for many years didn’t know how to hold space for healing, joy, and love. Who didn’t know that joy is for them too and they too deserve the luxury to heal in safe beautiful spaces that honors and recognizes our wounds. This the place where conversations about healing are made less awkward but more normal. I am not here to tell you you need fixing, you’ve been told that too many times. I am here to tell you that you can remember who you truly are.

45. Reclamation of Self: w/Vuyo Khumalo On Healing our money stories and the pursuit of freedom | Living a fulfilling life

Welcome to the first episode of a series I have created where I interviewed women who I have been inspired by their work, their healing journey and the way they hold space. In this series I uncover ways in which the work that they do has been part of reclaiming self and how it expanded beyond self to being of service to others.   Today I am in conversation with Vuyo Khumalo who is a behavioral money coach and Founder of Money EQ. I was divinely connected to Vuyo through this platform and I have been so blessed by her work.   With over 7 years’ experience working in financial services regulation as a financial analyst and passion for human behavior and helping people uncover their greatest potential. Vuyo married her background in finance with her passion for people and became a Money Coach.   In our conversation we talk about her own journey, how her pursuit to finding her own freedom lead her to the work that she does now, how important it is to understand the root of our money stories first and giving it language.   This is our conversation Watch and listen to the episode on YouTube here or search for Lerato Sekanka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Follow Vuyo Khumalo's work: On social media: @moneyeqwithvee Her website: money-eq.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Join us for the Remembering self workshop hosted on the 30th of April 2022 Click here to secure your spot there are only a few tickets available. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Follow Living Content's work: Sign up to receive my newsletters here Produced and Hosted by @Oleratowrites Follow the podcast on Instagram @livingcontentpodcast Our website www.livingcontent.co.za DISCLAIMER: Do not treat the content here as a substitute for therapy or seeking professional help. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/livingcontentpodcast/message

43. What makes us feel like the imposter | Embracing your full self and being a student

Today’s episode is one that I have been looking forward to share, it was also one that was requested. Most of us experience this but what makes us feel like we are imposters even when we have all the proof to show that we qualify. This feeling of being inadequate, not enough or that people will find you out that you are as flawed sometimes plagues us. On this episode I share my view on it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Remember you still have now until the 3rd of April to use the discount with ButtaNutt  ButtaNutt has made 15% discount available to LC listeners when you spend online - use discount code LCSelfCare15 at the checkout point ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Follow Living Content's work: Sign up to receive my newsletters here Produced and Hosted by @Oleratowrites Follow the podcast on Instagram @livingcontentpodcast Our website www.livingcontent.co.za DISCLAIMER: Do not treat the content here as a substitute for therapy or seeking professional help. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/livingcontentpodcast/message

Living Content - Official Trailer

Welcome to the Living Content podcast. Thank you for being here. Just a little about LC: Living Content is not to say our lives are perfect or we are perfect above or against any measure or anyone, but to know that we are Perfect, made Whole and Complete amidst the endurance of our pain in whichever way it broke us. You can say I am Devinely whole and I am Perfect. It is about remembering that. It is not to defend or fight to claim that fact, even when we made to believe that. You can rest in that knowing that you matter and you are enough just by Being.
