A tale of two fests: we showcase bands from the 6th annual Burger Fest here in Vancouver and then switch over to the inaugural Migration Fest in Olympia WA.

Highlighting Armstrong Metal Fest, as well as a shit heap of awesome gigs approaching over the next few months including Krallice, Belphegor, Mortuary Drape, Monolord, Ulcerate, and Om.

Bridget plays a whole lot of psychedelic rock/metal, some new black metal. She also reads a passage on hardcore rap's relationship with metal from Ian Christie's Sound of the Beast. A special guest joins the show for a little bit and plays a couple of her favourite songs.

Bridget' second show warms up with some doom and black metal. She follows with a brief reading and discussion of Chuck Klosterman's Fargo Rock City. Then she finishes off with a whole lotta thrash-both new and old.

Coleman returns for the first show in a month to unleash some dank negative vibes on your asses. A few highlights/shout-outs to Covenant and Black Twilight Circle, as well as the Girls Rock Camp Fundraiser, new metal Noir Quebecois, and touching on Amnesia Rockfest in Montreal.

Creator of one of the first Vancouver METAL BANDS to break out of here in a big world wide CULT, status. (he was the voice behind POWERCHORD's old intro tape), His band also made the lead track on METAL MASSACRE 4. so the first hour is dedicated to his music and and some reminiscing from M.R. The second hour was filled a variety of heaviness new and old.

Cradle to Grave sits in with the Mistress of Metal. Cradle to Grave is a local vancouver Metal band that has come back from the Grave. Cradle was formed in 2004 and made alot of fans and headway in the metal scene, but for no real reason they parted ways. Greg, lead singer of CTG, who is also in local metal band Fallen Decade, is one of the only original members of CTG. But now, it has been long awaited, CTG has reformed with a array of talented local metal musicians who have all made their mark on the local metal scene in Vancouver.

Todays show M.M.M. & M.R. present a brief tribute to the recently passed " Michael "Wurzel" Bursten, as well as, a buncha Canadian & local bands, like "First Reign", "Galagamex", Mortillery, Skullhammer, plus molten mouthfuls of Sepultura, new bands "Headshot', "Armor Column", "Megarhera" & more...feel that Metal seeping into those pores, and enjoy!!

Andy Grotesque and Metal Ron crank out the tunes while dealing with new engineer "arjin". (his first and last job with us!!)lots of heaviness though...artillery, death, new meliah rage, new band "confearacy", unleash the archers, and oh so much more!!!!!
