Established in 1964, WUAG is a student-run campus radio station affiliated with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. WUAG is a student-run organization, and the staff comprises of WUAG Board members, UNC Greensboro students, and local community DJs. We were established for the following purposes: ♫ To provide programming entertainment for the student body of UNC Greensboro and the community. ♫ To inform the student body of UNC Greensboro of events and happenings pertaining to them. ♫ To provide experience in working with the medium of radio as a supervised educational activity of the Department of Media Studies.
