About
Figuring Sh!t Out is a collective undertaking of self-help, coming of age, finding & healing yourself with grounding pillars of spirituality to find movement in a world of flux.  It is about the multidimensional existence - plot-twists, turns, and growth that we embark upon in this life to find a higher truth, to know ourselves, to find meaning in the meaninglessness, and to understand that if we spend our whole lives trying to get our act together - then we don’t have a life, we have an act.  Simply put, it is built upon the fostering of one thing - living your f*cking life.

38. Unlocking Our Heart's Potential: Clearing Energetic Blocks & Accessing a Portal to Profound Love & Inner Alchemy

Life is vulnerability.Time and time again we find that we are on this journey to find the strength that we didn't know that we had. To shock and surprise ourselves at the ability to get through the rough days, long nights, and find the bliss of sunshine again and again, even when we think it may be gone forever. And to be a witness to our boundless ability to continue on loving when we feel loveless. We have our hearts to thank for that -- the energetic pathway that lets our emotional energy in and out. The heart is a bridge to profound healing and to growth. Our hearts hold the hands of our spiritual being and our physical being - weaving them together in a tapestry of energy that forms us into who we are. Our greatest power is learning how to let what wants to flow through us, through us, so that we can have access to the authentic self that lies inside of our hearts. Your heart is your portal to your intuition, to your wisest self, to your inner knowing and your inner magic. Your heart holds experiences in the past, present, and future, and allows you to experience both the fullness and the emptiness of life. When we hold onto pain, we are closed and we are blocked. We are clenched in the corners of fear and negativity, keeping our walls up, keeping love out, and keeping blessings, opportunities, and potential, out of our line of sight. When we open, we are free. We allow the pain to come in, we allow it to be felt, we allow it to show us that it will always leave if we let it. And we make room for what is new to come in. We are able to see that every event that caused us to close up, was only to stretch our heart further open when we were ready. Leading with an open heart is not a sign of vulnerability but a beacon of strength that guides us toward a more aligned, influential, and authentic existence. In this episode, we explore the power of love's presence in our lives, how our heart center supports and protects us, and conscious brain-heart coherence with some readings from Joe Dispenza & Michael J. Singer. To live, if not passionately, is a mistake. To buy into the fallacy that our days are not numbered and that love is not the most evident pulse beneath the footprints of our world, even the harshest of them, is to live with eyes closed. You cannot live untouchably - life is vulnerability.I love you guys <3If you liked this episode, please rate the podcast on your preferred streaming platform, let me know your thoughts below, & reach out over socials!! <3JOIN THE MAILING LIST HERE: FSO WebsiteFIGURING SH!T OUT TOGETHER COMMUNITIESYOU ARE YOUR OWN HERO | E-BOOK & GUIDE BY ME <3 (FREE WITH COMMUNITY ACCESS) FREE DOWNLOADABLE GUIDEBOOK ON INTUITION VS ANXIETYSEASON TWO TRAILERSOCIALS:Podcast Instagram: @figuringshiiitoutPersonal Instagram: @222vgfSpiritual & Self-Help Advice -> TikTok: butterflyfountainYoutube: Vanessa FontanaCHAPTERS:(00:00) - Opening the Closed Heart(14:31) - The Power of an Open Heart - How you Know you’re Open vs Closed(31:12) - Are you Blocking Your Blessings?(40:44) - The Power of Vulnerability on Inner Alchemy & How to Lead with an Open HeartIf you liked this episode, you'll like this one, too!31 - Just Relax - You are Evolving! 32 - Career Confusion & Existential Crises - Advice for Finding Your Path, Enjoying the Journey along the Way, & How We’re All Still Figuring it Out

This episode was recorded back in September of this year, but I found it in my audio-files and as I listened to it, I couldn’t help but know that it was never published for a reason. It felt as though I spoke directly to myself in my current situation — in the space between this September & this December, I have found myself amid quite a bit of career confusion, not having any answers or knowing what to do, and how to move forward with the unknowing. And it’s a reminder that sometimes - we have to remember how far we’ve come, how much we know, and how much we’ve forgotten as we get lost in the throws of life. You’ll never solve a problem in crisis mode — and taking a step back will always let you see a much bigger picture that you didn’t have before. So, as we get into the finality of this year, it is time for reflection, for rest, and to allow ourselves to evolve. To sit with what we really want, balance it with what makes sense for us, and allow the path to be carved for when we know how to walk upon it.On this episode, I give you the run-down on my experience through my educational studies and choices, college, and moving to New York City to figure the rest out. I had a very non-traditional experience through this part of my adolescence, and as hard as it was — it taught me more than I know to be grateful for. I’m still along the journey of Figuring Sh!t Out, as we all will be for the rest of our lives — and this topic is to likely be revisited when I find more answers I didn’t have before. But in the mean-time, I will have fun finding them — because in the end, If you spend your whole life trying to get your act together, you don’t have a life. You have an act. xxSo much news coming in the new year! 23. Letting Go Of the Past

In this episode, I take you through my last few weeks of navigating life & what it has taught me about:  Moving on. Moving forward. Facing an unknown future with a bit of fear but a lot of relief - in knowing what you are leaving behind.  Saying goodbye to your pain and to the stories it wishes to perpetuate. We cannot avoid feeling what we wish not to face.  They teach us the most valuable lessons. They bring us higher. We are only as wise as what we learn from our suffering.  Give yourself the permission of patience. Give yourself the permission to feel.  To start over. Thank what your painful experiences have taught you, and wish them farewell. You can let go. It's okay to let go. The other side will be more beautiful than you can fathom. xx IF YOU LIKED THIS EPISODE, PLS LEAVE A REVIEW & TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS!Spiritual & Self-Help Advice -> TikTok: butterflyfountainPodcast Instagram: @figuringshiiitoutPersonal Instagram: @222vgfYoutube:  @figuringshitout (Vanessa Fontana / Butterfly Fountain) - THERE WILL BE A VIDEO 4 THIS EPISODE! 22. Confronting Grief, Death, and the Inevitability of Loss

"It is truly a great cosmic paradox that one of the best teachers in all of life turns out to be death. No person or situation could ever teach you as much as death has to teach you. While someone could tell you that you are not your body, death shows you. While someone could remind you of the insignificance of the things that you cling to, death takes them all away in a second. While people can teach you that men and women of all races are equal and that there is no difference between the rich and the poor, death instantly makes us all the same.Death changes everything in a flash. That’s the reality of the situation. If all these things can be changed in an instant, then maybe they aren’t so real after all" - The Untethered Soul, Michael J. Singer // While we all wish to create our lives with joy and poetic romanticism - there are often harsh and cruel truths that we cannot blind ourselves from. Life is a series of ups and downs, highs and lows, deaths with rebirths, and deaths without them.  In my 23rd year, I've witnessed more death than ever before. And what it has done, above all of the grief and loss and trying to make sense of it, is made me feel immense gratitude for the preciousness of what I have, who I have, and what is real.In the throes of grief, we often find ourselves grappling with the unpredictability of life and the preciousness of each moment. In this episode, I share my experience with losing loved ones and watching those I love lose theirs. How do you make sense of any of it? What can it teach you? What does it show you?Attempting to give a voice to those disorienting moments is challenging in navigating the labyrinth of loss, but in as much honesty as I can - in this episode, I try. And we come to find, trying - to define the undefinable, to go on with honor and gratitude after those we love are no longer here -Trying is all we can ever do.----- There may not be an episode next week!!
