Cambran captivates Neville with details about his recent victory at the "Legends are Born in April" drag racing competition in Antigua. The St. Croix native, began his career as a junior dragster and has since gone on to break records in the sport.  Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation (DSPR), Commissioner Calvert White, phones in to discuss the department's partnership with Cambran. The DSPR has teamed up with Cambran to bring the Junior Dragster program back to the territory.

Part 2 - Members of the Bahá'í Faith recap their trip to Haifa, Israel for the 13th International Bahá'í Convention. George Cannon, Alan Smith, and Thelma Manning educate the public on their belief and what led them to join the religion.

Part 2 - Guest host Jamila Russell leaves with a BANG, literally! Deli Banger, St. Thomas musician and producer, calls in to dish on his latest music. Banger first got his start as the DJ for R. City. He has produced “Follow Me,” for the R. City duo, “Slow Motion” by “Pressure Busspipe” and Ciara's "Better Thangs,” featuring Summer Walker.

Part 1 - Jonelle-Alexis Jackson, public information officer with the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services (VIFEMS), informs the public about "EMS Week," observed May 21st –27th, and the territory-wide burn ban. The ban applies to all open fires, including campfires, bonfires, trash, yard debris, or brush burning, until further notice. The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority is keeping the public informed about the Christiansted Sewer Line System Replacement and Manhole Rehabilitation project. Ronald Phillips, a staff engineer, gives updates on contractor selection, project schedule, funding sources, and the estimated project cost.

Part 2 - Students with the University of the Virgin Islands Association of Black Journalist (UVIABJ), Michael Bell, president and Kyra Edwards, vice president, discuss their experience at the Region 3 Conference of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). UVIABJ faculty advisor Dr. Sharon Albert-Honoré briefly joins the conversation to highlight the dedication of the students.

Part 1 - Some residents are still feeling the financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic since it began in 2020. The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) is doing their part to provide relief for residents. Keva Muller, communications manager for the VIHFA, joins Jamila to discuss the Homeowner Assistance Fund. The federally funded program covers outstanding homeowner expenses. Director Kyle Fleming of Virgin Islands Energy Office (VIEO), stops by the studio for the “Power Hour.” Fleming provides updates on acquisition of federal funds and plans to increase public outreach.

Part 2 - Kelcie Troutman a local marine biologist with the Coastal Zone Management (CZM) division of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) phones in to discuss the upcoming “Kite Festival.” The event is organized by the St. Croix East End Marine Park where Troutman also works as an outreach specialist. The festival will take place on May 6th at the old Camp Arawak area. The goal of the event is to garner awareness of the park’s existence, attract visitors and educate the public about sustainability and protecting natural resources. In the second half of the show, education takes center stage once again. The St. Croix Educational Complex High School (SCECHS) presents the “Complex Voices” language arts showcase.  Jamila is joined in studio by Sayeeda Carter, a teacher and on the phone by student Kyraun Burke. Burke, a senior at SCECHS. The showcase will feature speeches, poetry reading and essays, just to name a few categories.

Part 1 - On your mark, get set, go! The show gets a swift start when Keith Smith president of the V.I. Track and Field Federation and Mireille Smith general secretary, call in to discuss the National Track and Field Championships scheduled for July 9th and July 10th at the St. Croix Educational Complex High School track. This year’s National Championship is named after Flora Hyacinth, an accomplished Virgin Island athlete who represented the Virgin Islands at the Olympic Games in Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, and Sydney 2000.

Part 2 - The Caribbean Exploratory Research Center at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVICERC) teams up with the Access to Racial and Cultural Health Institute, Inc. (ARCH Institute). ARCH Institute Executive Director Duane Howell receives a warm welcome from Jamila before beginning their discussion on the U.S. Virgin Islands-Safe Communities Project. Dr. Noreen Michael, principal investigator on the UVICERC research team, phones in to explain the process of their study. The overall mission of the project is to identify safety priorities that can be used to drive public policies, leverage local funding to combat crime and implement prevention programs.         

Part 1 - Jamila discusses legislation H.R. 3025, introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives by V.I. Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett. The legislation aims to deter expansion of the V.I. National Park on St. John. Later, Richard Motta Jr., communications director for the Office of the Governor, phones in from Boston.  Motta provides information about the Honorable Governor Albert Bryan Jr.'s opening pitch at Fenway Park baseball stadium, home of the Boston Red Sox. Governor Bryan is currently visiting the mainland for the SelectUSA Investment Summit and Boston Business Summit. Jamila ends the discussion with queries about Vitol and WAPA. 

Part 2 - At the top of the hour, Jannette Guzman of the Department of Health joins the discussion on hurricane preparedness to explain the DOH's role during natural disasters.  

Part 1 - Hurricane Preparedness Week is a week-long national and territorial effort, urging the community to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season. This year, it is observed from May 1 to 7. Director Daryl Jaschen of the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) and FEMA U.S. Virgin Islands Caribbean Area Office Coordinator Mark A. Walters join guest host Jamila Russell in the studio to discuss disaster planning, evacuation, and supplies.

Part 2 - Jamila Russell thanks the WTJX family for their coverage of the 2023 St. Thomas Carnival Parade, enjoyed at home by many. Speaking of enjoyment, Howard Forbes, the Virgin Islands Marine Advisor Services director, calls in to discuss the upcoming Youth Ocean Explorers (YOE) Summer Program. The 4-week, hands-on marine science program is available for middle to high-school-aged students interested in exploring the oceans. At the end of the program, students can earn their open water scuba certification from the Coki Dive Center and Cane Bay Dive Shop from certified Professional Divers Association Instructors (PADI). Forbes hopes that the program will help to further the students' love for the ocean!  

Part 1 - "Where in the world is Neville James?" Jamila Russell fills in for Neville as the host of Analyze This.  Jamila is joined in studio by marine expert Matthew Warham, coral reef initiative coordinator for the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR). Warham and fellow DPNR colleague Erin Bowman, a coral fellow with the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), were recently listed as contributors to an article published in Science Advances, a scientific journal. Warham provides extensive information about the decline of the long-spined sea urchin, how they maintain the corals, and their role in stabilizing the underwater ecosystem.  

Part 2 - Deputy Regional Administrator Walter Mugdan of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provides a detailed timeline of what led to the shutdown of West Indies Petroleum Limited and Port Hamilton Refining and Transportation, LLLP. The refinery was formerly known as Limetree Bay Terminals and Limetree Bay Refining, LLC, and HOVENSA.  The EPA has conditionally approved plans for the safe removal of dangerous chemicals from systems at the refinery. Mugdan states that the EPA has collaborated with the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, VITEMA and other government agencies to keep the public informed during the cleanup process. 

Part 1 - Analyze This celebrates its third anniversary. Host Neville James thanks the listening audience and the WTJX family for their continued support. In the studio, James is joined by regular contributor Dwayne Henry Esq. and via phone by Donald "Ducks" Cole. Cole gives the men a play-by-play of the ongoing 2023 St. Thomas Carnival J’ouvert, leaving James and Henry reminiscing about the good old days.  

Part 2 - Neville James and Kelly "Pupa Kelly" Charleswell take a trip down memory lane detailing how music shaped his life. James and Charleswell reflect on his contributions to the culture. Charleswell, for whom the 2023 St. Thomas Carnival Village is named, is a renowned local musician, teacher, and former member of the 21-time Road March champs "Jam Band.”

Part 1 - Virgin Islands Police Department's own, Uston Cornelius, deputy chief, visits the show to provide updates on local law enforcement's efforts to reduce and deter crime. Cornelius urges the community to continue its support of VIPD operations. The territory has seen a wave of crimes in the past few weeks. Cornelius attributes this to the "changing times" and an easier access to weapons.  Cornelius reaffirmed the VIPD's commitment to community safety and expressed his heartfelt condolences to family members who have lost loved one due to acts of violence.  

Part 2 - Ronald Phillips, staff engineer at Virgin Islands Waste Management (VIWMA) discusses infrastructure changes and plans for prudent replacement. Phillips details plans for Christiansted sewer line replacements and manhole rehabilitation, except for Company Street, St. Croix.  The repairs are a collaborative effort between VIWMA, the V.I. Water and Power Authority, the Department of Public Works and is projected to last two years.  

Part 1 - The Carnival season has official commenced; Neville James congratulates Kelly "Pupa Kelly" Charleswell. The 2023 St. Thomas Carnival Village, which opened on Monday, April 24, is named in honor of Charleswell. James later discusses COVID-19 stats and urges listeners to take necessary precautions. Executive Director Colleen M. Richardson, Psy.D, of the Veterans Affairs National Caregiver Support program discusses support for veteran caregivers. The mission for the program is to understand, access and support the non-traditional needs of veteran caregivers in the Virgin Islands.

Part 2 - Should there be an age limit for public service? Contributors Donald "Ducks" Cole and Dwayne Henry Esq. join the show to discuss how age affects service. The discussion later shifts to education and steps the local government should take to ensure a successful 2023-2024 school year. Before the program closes, contributor "Ducks" Cole decides to address the decline of culture and tradition. 

Part 1 - Neville James and Ryan Chambers of the National Weather Service prep the territory for the Carnival weekend with the weather forecast. James gives the latest COVID-19 numbers, and stock market updates.  He later discusses the ongoing issues related to gun violence, nationally and in the territory.  

Part 2 - Department of Health (DOH) Commissioner Justa "Tita" Encarnacion joins the discussion with Neville James and Douglas Koch, chief operation officer for Juan F. Luis Hospital detailing their collaborative efforts to provide the best possible healthcare options for residents.  Encarnacion and DOH Deputy Commissioner Renan Steele reiterate the department's commitment to battling depression and mental health. 

Part 1 - Director Antonio Emmanuel of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention joins Neville James to educate the audience on the office's mission to deter crime through community outreach initiatives. After detailing the history of the office, Emmanuel speaks to the issues affecting violence and what the community can do to aid the office, in conjunction with the Virgin Islands Police Department.    It's moving day for Juan F. Luis Hospital North Facility. Douglas Koch, chief operating officer, urges resident to adhere to visiting hour restrictions and reduce traffic on Peppertree Road to ensure a smooth process. 

Part 2 - Celebrating 65 years of academic success, Principal Wendy Gonzales, provides information on Claude O. Markoe Elementary School's 65th Sapphire Anniversary Sneaker Gala. Gonzales recounts the history of the school and Claude O. Markeo for which the school is named. The event will take place, Saturday, May 20, with a reception and auction of donated sneakers. Notably, auction item contributors include retired basketball players and St. Croix native, Tim Duncan who donated a personal pair of autographed size 16 sneakers.  

Part 1 - Willard John, chairman of the Port Authority Board, makes a special appearance to bring updates on new flight activity to the island. Recently, "Fly the Whale" a commuter airline, agreed to provide inter-island flight services between St. Croix and St. Thomas. John notes the potential of new flights to the Territory and its potential to restore the economic and social atmosphere. The airline's first flight is scheduled for Monday, April 24, in time to accommodate the busy Carnival season. 

Part 2 - Dr. Maria Fleming, assistant director at the Center for Student Success, provides details on The University of the Virgin Islands Summer Bridge program, which is set to host 100 students from June through July. Former Summer Bridge students Breana Thomas and Salim Schulterbrandt inform about the benefits of the program. Charmaine Smith, interim director of Admissions, details UVI's Free Tuition program.

Part 1 - "It's Carnival!" Ian Turnbull director of the Division of Festivals joins host Neville James to discuss the upcoming events for the Carnival2023 Season, the success of the Uber Soca Cruise J'ouvert, and the Division's plan to increase tourism. 

Part 2 - Show contributor Sommer Sibilly-Brown stops by the studio to tackle sensitive issues related to the progressive decline of youth mental health. Later, guest Clema Lewis, executive director of Women's Coalition joins the show furthering the discussion and providing information on the upcoming activities they intend to host for Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, observed in April. 

Part 1 - Neville James opens the show on a somber note, highlighting the mental health crisis, stemming from 2 reported suicides on the island. On a lighter note, Carnival royalty La'Monee Morris, St. Thomas Ambassadorial Carnival Queen 2023, joins host Neville James to discuss her journey to capturing the title, her experiences in the pageant world and her plans to pursue more titles.  Morris recalls life post hurricane Irma and Maria, graduating during a pandemic and pursuing a Psychology degree at the University of the Virgin Islands.
