Business is difficult and she feels like she is always there to support others and now that she needs the support, she isn’t receiving it. Kalilah shares about feeling stuck in her MESS. The company isn’t doing well and she is contemplating if she should close or what are her options. She is holding on to her mental health and shares that one of her mentees have committed suicide due to the pressures of life. She wants to hold on to protecting her peace, so no matter what is for the next chapter of MESS, she knows she has to un-stuck her self and make a move; it is time to pivot. Never give up because great things take time. Kalilah talks about her fertility journey. She once considered doing IVF and other fertility treatments and now that she is expecting her second child, she talks about the highs and lows of trying to find a partner or even finding a donor to conceive with.
