The Old Lodge Hotel is still standing, and in recent years has become the venue for the Zombie Disco Party one of the best Halloween parties in the city.

During this time many of the poorer families we moved out of the neighbourhood and more affluent families began moving in, this has resulted in the house prices rocketing in the last few years as the neighbourhood becomes more middle class.
